Not quite so sure how this works but after the PDC world championships John Part must be worth a flutter as he was head and shoulders above the opposition last month.

Just looking at the format on Wikpedia and it looks like it runs until May.

tough set of fixtures this week especially after last weeks results.

Even although Part played in patches - his game didn't look that good (nerves ) and Barney won easily enough but again didn't impress.

Wade was the 1st to beat Taylor and will be looking to beat Jenkins who last week went 7-0 down but staged a great come back and was starting to fire.

Taylor lost his 1st ever Prem League game and was using new darts (again) and Lewis looked fantastic early doors but began to falter towards the end but he's letting the crowd get to him and until he carries that monkey around on his back he's going to struggle.

Manley - creditable draw with Part and Mardle was ok but failed to deliver.

Once again I'm being cagey with the bets so i'm going for correct scores - small small stakes

Barney to win 8-5
Wade to win 8-4
Taylor to win 8-3 (actually thought i'd backed 8-5 till i got home)

Ah nice one Keg.

I think Part has a bit of a World Champs hangover and I dont think he'll go too well in the Prem League - Barney was a bit out of sorts v Mardle but turned it on when needed and I think we'll see the same tonight. Decent price IMO.

Wade v Jenkins - not 100% sure yet.

I'd agree re Lewis - it was awesome finishing that put him 7-0 up but it went to pot when the crowd were on his back. He wont get any help v Taylor and his scoring wont get him out of jail, so I cant see him winning this one.

Mardle v Manley - Bookies cant make the mind up on this one and neither can.

Interesting market this. Taylor is up and down. Throws 2 back to back 180's and is on for a 9 darter and still loses the leg - poor finishing and a couple of legs later his finishing is back to norm.

Wade is on-form but will he be able to keep it up ?

swings in roundabouts but unless Taylor changes back to his old darts then he's not going to win this. Barney was ok. Fell asleep before the wade game but saw he scrapped a 7-7 draw.

Taylor @ 1.51 seems fair.

No doubt he is a bit vulnerable just now, but that's mainly cos of his doubling - his scoring is still pretty high. So he's beatable when someone can put him under pressure, I just dont think Mardle has the big scores in him to put Taylor under the consistent pressure he would need to.
