And if Greece played like they did last night and the Germans played like they did against Croatia and Austria then there's a good chance that they would beat them.

the main reason for the Germans were the favourite was due them being in a weak group , if they had won the group they would have met Turkey in the quarters before coming across Portugal in the semis , finishing second they meet them a round earlier .

No I'm happy with my Portugal bet ... sounds like famous last words should I post this?

I wouldnt compare the perfrmance of a higly motivated Greek team (avoiding an unprecidented record) against the Spanish reserves as a good yardstick..

Ok I am influenced by the good old German resolve when looking at this match, but it has worked well in the past... A pre-tournament favourite isnt there for no reason.. Playing in a country close to home, stung by poor performances..Yep..The Germans will qualify.. no doubt..

The Germans did look better. Much better. Pass and move. Football is so easy. I'm not convinced they've shown they're good enough to win it as yet though. Portugal gifted them a couple and also missed a couple of sitters right in front of goal. More improvement, they have a chance but I think.... it'll be close but no cigar.
