Steaua with no tactics and no ideas. Hagi just ruined the team, like all the other teams he coached. Ch. League may bring a big motivational factor, but it won't be enough. Guys like Baciu or Surdu, maybe even Nicolita are simply football limited (technically and brains). With all the money in the world and all the morale boost they can't do big plays.
Arsenal are very homogenous, they are playing like a nice, good oiled machine. The fact that Henry leaved it is a plus IMO - all the players are more free to show their class now. Overestimation of Steaua and overconfidence are dangerous, but Steaua is just too poor. Only a big storm and a flooded field may save Steau (meser)
Barcelona started to play their style of football that they played two seasons ago. They are playing of the best footballs in the world at the moment. Leo Messi is the new Ronaldinho and reminds a lot on Ronaldinho 2-3 seasons ago. He is true leader of the team in the attack and Barcelona’s attacks looks unstoppable at the moment. They scored 13 goals in their last 4 matches, three in La Liga and one in Champiosn league against Lyon.
Stuttgart seems that they are losing the tempo battling on two fields and the lack of dept in their squad is the main reason of that. Although it seems that they are doing well in front of their home fans, they still have not played against any stronger team (expect of 2:2 against Schalke on the beginning of the season) The Stuttgart fans are not optimists about this match at all. They are aware of their weaknesses in the defensive part and playing against Barcelona who is putting constant pressure to the opponent’s goal, it will be very hard for the team to take a point from this match.
Barcelona will be without Toure, important part of the team so far this season. Ronaldinho is back and he will be keen to prove that he is still a world class player after the critics that were placed towards him lately. I think that Barcelona will dominate the whole match and very probable they will leave Stuttgart with the three points.
Pick: Barcelona --> Odds: 1.73 @ Ladbrokes --> Stake: 7u
Everybody is hugely against Slavia and that is something for me , ok Tavares is important player, but I think the others are not so important, Smicer is big name, but he played rarely this year.
Tons of words have been written about Sevillas problems.
This is clearly speculative (and for fun) bet for me, I won´t be surprised if this would be something like Porto - Artmedia few years back, and moreover I don´t like when is everybody betting on one team
But GL to all.
Smicer isnt that key so you obviously havent watched them as he has barely played since joining them . Its the 3 regular defenders , Latka ,Brabec and Drizdal who will be missed bigtime ,as the wave after wave of Seville attacks will be endless . The men coming in for them arent really up the the Czech league , so god help them in the CL
Barca shocking record away from home , and shocking record in Germany . Won just 7 of last 23 La Liga away games and Stuttgart would be top 6 or 7 if in La Liga . Yes theyre in a bit of a rut just now , but they still havent lost at home for over 12 months , and Barca would take a point given theyve already beaten theyre main group rivals in the first game of the phase . Odds on away in europe in dicey , and dont be fooloed by the weekend 4-1 win at Levante , they are by far the worst team in La Liga , and they managed to score!!!
I have the same nickname on all forums, don't be afraid to name me I can only confirm it's true..
Also Brabec and Latka out in defense... my "big" worry...
Drizdal back and ready on the bench, trained in Sevilla...

Just some thoughts from my blog on tonights games...
Another round of Champions league matches this week and the British clubs have a mixed bag of fixtures. Tonight, Manchester United host Roma and whilst they won’t expect a repeat of last season’s 7-1 thrashing of the Italians, the home crowd will go to Old Trafford expecting nothing less than 3 points. Personally I don’t think it will be an easy one for the Red Devils and I don’t expect there to be a goal feast this time around. The 8/11 at BlueSq and Stan James for the home win is still on the skinny side and I’d be tempted to look to the total goals market. Back Under 2.5 goals at Canbet at 101/100.
Arsenal travel to Romania looking to build upon their 3-0 win against Seville in the first round of games and should be good enough to pick up the 3 points in Bucharest. Steaua are apparently in a bit of disarray and Arsenal’s recent form suggests they can take advantage and make a giant stride towards qualification already. Again, the price on the Arsenal win is short at 4/6 (BetDirect, Paddy Power, Skybet, Stan James) but its worth taking.
Walter Smith faces up to Gerard Houllier’s Lyon side tonight in France and on the face of it it looks like a tricky tie, after all this is the same Lyon who have built a fearless reputation in the Champions league in recent years. But dig below the surface and you’ll find a side that are struggling for form in Ligue 1. Several of their star performers were allowed to leave in the Summer and they fell to a disappointing 3-0 defeat at the Nou Camp on Matchday 1. Rangers might just go there fancying their chances tonight. Walter Smith will set them up to play 4-5-1, although the loss of Darcheville is a bit of a blow. If Rangers can hold out the first half hour, they might just sneak back to Glasgow with a point, or more. You can have as much as 10-1 on Rangers at Bet365, which I feel is ridiculously high. If you don’t want to risk that one, then my suggestion is to back them on the Asian Handicap (+1, +1.5), which means that even if they get beaten by a goal you’ll still pick up some winnings. Best price available is 91/100 at Canbet.
Of all the other games tonight, Barcelona appear to be hitting top gear in La Liga and travel to Stuttgart who were very disappointing at Ibrox two weeks ago and haven’t made the best of starts to their Bundesliga campaign. Back Henry, Messi, Ronaldinho and co to return to the Nou Camp with all three points. Barcelona win, 8/11 at Boylesports, Coral, Ladbrokes and Skybet.
If this was reaction on my post I don´t understand it, I wrote that he has only big name and he played rarely this season, so....
As you will notice my post was quite a long one , and when i started writing it your post wasnt up . After id posted i thought you`d copied me , then i realsied my post was AFTER yours
Sevilla will take the control of the match since the beginning and they are more than capable of beating average Slavias side. Sevilla has no important injury or suspension worries and Slavia will be without two important players, Smicer and Tavares.
MORD , My post that you refer to was to this member , not you mate
I just re-read your post and see what you mean now
Lyon are not the team they were over the last few seasons and I would go as far as to say they are on the slide. There is unrest at the club and it seems the coach is despised by the players. Never a good situation for any club. Not that I think Rangers are a great team but there's no expectation on them in France. They've got 3 pts on the board after beating Stuttgart, while Lyon lost 3-0 going on 6-0 in Barcelona, so the home team are under pressure to win.
A draw would be a great result for Rangers and I can see them getting something tomorrow night. Like Bigkegman, my Rangers supporting mates have written them off but I really think they can get something from this match.
Celtic will need to take something from AC Milan at Parkhead but this is a tall order despite their great home record in the CL. Celtic are very vulnerable in defence but having said that Milan would undoubtedly be happy with a point and a draw looks very much on the cards in this one.
