I tend to agree Claugol cause i think when they went 1-0 up they thought they where on easy street but whatever happenend i the 2nd half proved they where not.

The odds don't tempt me. I think they will win but i don't know if it will be enough to go through. I don't think the Turks will come and try and defend because that will be what Chelsea want. If they score they go through imo.

Liverpool/Arsenal
Arsenal/Liverpool
toss a coin.......... maybe yes, maybe no.

Both teams will probably be sick of the sight of each other but will the smart money be on 1-1

I think this could easily swing either way but as Arsenal MUST score then it should make interesting viewing.

Re: 8th-9th April - Champions League

Cheers folks

I am heavy on Arsenal tonight. Watched almost all their CL games and must admit I fall in love. I have been cheering long time for Liverpool, and deep in my heart Liverpool is my first love in british football, but at the present I am really enjoying cheering for Arsenal. Despite those 1-1, I think Arsenal was much better and closer to win then Lpool. At this stage imo aint that important who is home and who is away. Similar was with AC Milan, when Arsenal destroyed them away. My bookie is offering 2,4 for arsenal to progress and I find it generous and took it with full stakes.

Re: 8th-9th April - Champions League

Manchester United - Roma

Manchester net was last time hit by Newcastle on 23-02-2008, that is 5 Premiership games with 0 goals in the MUtd net, (A.Villa, Liverpool, Bolton at home, Derby C. and Fulham away) together with 2 CL games (Roma away and second game against Lyon at home) makes it 5 games without conceding goal. Then Rio and Vidic are out and Middlesbrough scores twice last weekend, two of them are out tonight, and Pique will play, and he played only 10 games, two in CL, so I expect Roma to score, and of course Ferguson boys as well. Roma has minus 2 and is coming without Totti, so everybody thinks they have nothing to do at Old Trafford, I'm sure they will be professional and play good football relaxed, cause they know everybody said bye bye Roma, so they have nothing to lose, "nothing to play for", and those kind of teams usually give headache to other team and their fans and that means we are about to see a very good game, Mutd, you all know, can score many goals anywhere, so I'm looking forward to this game, hopefully with lots of goals (hope it will be 8-1 this time )

over 3 @ 3,25 5/10

Re: 8th-9th April - Champions League

Afternoon all,

Looking into the facts for this game sees that Man Utd are one win away from breaking the record for the most concecutive wins in the champions league (10) which they themselves share with Juventus.

Even with the injury to Vidic, theres the possibility of Ferdinand being back in the lineup for tonight after a fitness test of his injured foot today, I think he will play tonight, which will be a huge boost to the Utd defence.

Add to that the form of Ronaldo and Rooney and I cant see anything other than a convincing win for Man U.

Fergie will want nothing more than to keep the momentum going at United, especialy with the huge game coming up on sunday at home against the Gunners and what better way to do it than by cementing their place in the semi finals of the Champions league with a good performance and a convincing win against a Totti-less Roma!

Considering going for the following bets (feel free to tempt me away for any of them!):

Ronaldo to score at anytime looks tempting at 2.2 at betfair.

Man Utd clean sheet at 2.38 at betfair .

And might even throw in Man Utd to win more corners at 1.51 at betfair.

Good luck if you choose to follow me on any of these!

Toadface

Stake refunded on Ronaldo to score at anytime due to him not playing.

Lucky on the clean Utd clean sheet! (penalty miss!)

And wrapped it up nicely with Utd to win more corners (13 - 8)

Decent profit on the night!

Hope some of you got on these
