I feel asleep on Saturday afternoon after a 36 hour stretch between Friday/Saturday so I wouldn't have been much help to any of ya anyhoo.
If I didn't know any better the
BBC are being very deliberate in picking people who have no chance whatsoever of winning the event. I don't think the
BBC can afford to win the show and having to stump the cash in hosting it which is probably why we have sent some of the ropiest acts (the frankly disturbingly successful Daz Simpson, and pop hasbeens Scooch) to the show.

Ireland probably have the same lack of motivation in winning the event as well and are probably
still having to pay for having hosting the shows when they really went for the jugular back in the 90s with three back-to-back wins in '92, '93 and '94.
Arguably this move of sending a puppet (I think that's a Eurovision first!) could actually seemingly backfire on 'em if the weight of support going by money put at the bookies is anything to go by!
The UK are seemingly going to play up the race card if the UK does badly again this year.
