Another mob of Eurovision timewasters...altho thats a little better this year. I like the instrumentals but the singing is a bit nondescript...pretty forgettable all round.

The ghoul is through. Great performance. Song was far more impressive than the first version I heard. This is hitting the top 10 with a repeat performance. Oh yes. All the crowd shouting for them at the end too.

Should we scribble this down as a definte top tenner? I can't see many performances topping this and the fans seemed crazy for it. Cah-razy.

This songs really the acid test of just how geographical the contest has become.

Performance wise, superb, stage show matches the song nicely. Vocally, brilliant, on a par with Israel. Song, not the greatest, certainly not really perfect for a first time Saturday night listener, but its passionate and comes across really well.

On the plus side, it's the only song in Western Europe(not counting Skandos of course) that looks to have a realistic chance. To win, or even to do well, it needs one of two things to happen: a) Western Europe rallies behind this one, altho they have never shown any likelihood to rally behind something before - the West remains just as likely to vote for Eastern European songs. I mean they'll give it plenty votes - lots of 4s, 5s and 6s, but if its to really go well then it needs to turn them into 8s, 10s and 12s from the more friendly countries. If that doesn't happen, then it needs b) Eastern Europe to go for this one, to give it solid support all round.

I've got doubts over both, but need a bit more time on this one I think.

I've got a wee 'chunk' on this @ 80.00's just in case. I was amazed at how Portugal won over the crowd last night - I was expecting riots if this didn't qualify. It does have a very, Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian etc. kind of sound doesn't it?

This was @ 26.00 at betfair a few minutes ago. Interesting. I'm quite happy I got something on @ 80's but interesting to see how this develops.

She's awesome. Guh.... I'm even starting to fancy her a bit too.

That could be the greatest performance in the history of Eurovision. The world even.
