The second factor to qualify this ideer is that it could well already be up and running and very much doesn't require my inventing it.
Thirdly it could very well be shite. But apart from that I think the ideer is very good. And here it is. Now. Well, not now. Next line down.
We all know about betting affiliate programmes. They're best utilised by sites like this one who're catering quite a bit for new gamblers or folk who may well be opening up a new account.
And for a referral you get a chunk of cash dependant on how much the guy you put the bookie's way deposits.
betfair for example give you £30 when someone deposits a total of £75. There are affiliate systems which are better than others, and this point can be discussed until the ideers start laying their eggs.
Now, I personally have opened up quite a few accounts in my time. Seven or eight perhaps. And I've never gone through an affiliate. Which is pretty dim/uncharitable/uncool, when you think that signing up through an affiliate doesn't affect me in the slightest, but will put some money the affiliates way. And we're all in this together.
However, if you're thinking a) why the fuck should I give some bloke money I've never met before or b) which affiliate do I go to, then this is where my ideer comes down to the waterhole.
What if...there was an afifliate system where the affiliate basically had a deal with the guy signing up, "listen, I get £20 when you've deposited £50. If you sign up through my affiliate system, I'll give you £10. ie. split the profit."
Would that not coax more people into going through your affiliate scheme? (This is where you get the beetroot out komp, although for argument's sake it would be interesting to hear your take on that. However, it would be harder for you to hawk your deal around other betting forums, seeing as how you have your own site, although I guess you could wear a scarf around your neck.)
