Re: Football/Hurling Sat 26th + Sun 27th July

2 strong fancies for me this weekend in the world of gaelic games.

Firstly i think Limerick are a super bet at 4/6 to account for a very lucky Kildare outfit last Saturday. A last minute goal gave them victory against a poor Cavan side. Limerick on the other hand after initially being very unlucky against Cork when they were leading in the last 10 minutes managed to put that behind them and trounce Meath last saturday at home. Baring in mind Cork went on to beat the all ireland favourites Kerry in the Munster final the form bodes very weel for Limerick. Kildare to me aernt a good side and on Saturday i think they'll be found out. Ill be on at 4/6 and will look at different handicaps later in the week possibly -3 which could be priced near the 2/1 mark.

My second pick for this weekend is slightly shorter and its Cork to beat Clare. Cork had a superb victory over Galway last weekend, i side i thought could win the hurling all ireland however Cork battled to a 2 point victory with 14 men. cork seemed to have turned the corner after their poor Munster showing while on the other hand i tought Clare were lucky to reach the Munster final. They rode their luck against a dire Limerick side who were then destroyed by Offaly while Clare themselves were easily beaten by Tipperary in their provincial decider. Cork seemes to have turned the corner and should justify 4/9 favourtism.

Limerick 4/6
Cork 4/9

I don't trust Limerick for some reason. I'm looking for something to double Tyrone with today..

I reckon Tyrone have the know-how to dispose of westmeath and thier 10 man defence! Mulligan on the bench, its in Omagh..and live on tv Can't see anything other than a tyrone win. The Handicap looks right. Tyrone straight up for me.

Agree with Cork hurlers. The Galway cork game last week was smshing. Ollie Canning. What a player. Class act all the way!

Good luck

fingers crossed mate, limerick winning 9-7 at the minute

your right on canning, what a player! was dissapointed to see him on the losing side last saturday night.

Nice one on tyrone, got the job done nicely, still right in the hunt for the all-ireland.
