I was well chuffed with myself half an hour ago. I had just won my 6th bet out of 6 in my £20k Challenge.

That was until I check my Boylesport account and it turns out today's bet wasn't placed - meaning I missed out on £124.21. Feckin nightmare

I also had a wee punt on Macedonia that didn't place either.

I had tried to place the bets at Boylesports and I needed to top up my account to put the bet on. Seems I put in the wrong CSV (I have two cards and the CSVs are coincidentally only 1 digit apart).

What a

!

I also backed a permed treble;
England to win 2-0, 3-0 or 4-0. FT 2-0
Portugal to win 3-0, 4-0 or 5-0. FT 4-0
Germany to win 3-0, 4-0 or 5-0. FT 6-0 - scored the 6th in 87 mins!

Unlucky Selectabet.. I thought I was definetly up betting wise from footy betting yesterday, but I checked my Betfair P & L and I am around £7 down. My biggest let downs were France, & Italy who I had split between -1, and -1.5 to beat Cyprus on the Asians. I had a bigger punt than I thought on Italy, and less than I thought on England winning 2-0.

Probly not too surprising that Italy & France were my two let downs after their performances in Euro 2008. Are France lower in the FIFA rankings then Scotland yet? At least Macedonia came up trumps for me in the Footy!

I am thinking of starting my own £20 - 20k challenge. I am 5 from 5 in the Tipster Challenge so far this season, though kept by stakes around the 25% mark each week. Might look back and work out what I would have been on, going half bank each time.

You should go for it Tricky. It gives me the discipline to place bets. Sure I have the odd daft bet, especially accumulators on a Saturday - I'm still a sucker for those but I'm placing one bet at a time when it comes to the £20k challenge and keep a separate balance for those.

I got a winner today again. Even managed to place the bet properly this time

6 out of 6 ain't a bad start. Long may it continue.
