He's 9/4 with Betdirect - Pile in!!!

Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomo has a prohibitive chip lead, with one third of the chips in play. He is well known for his aggressive play, but despite having made final tables in numerous events in the past two years, he has yet to take down a major victory. Could he make his big breakthrough here at the biggest stage in poker?

However - value at 9/1?

Among Justin's pursuers is Stan Weiss, who won the 2006 WPT Mirage Poker Showdown. Stan and the other final table players have their work cut out for them, as they will be entering play on Friday at a severe chip disadvantage against a relentlessly aggressive player. The only way to find out what happens is to join us at 3:00pm

Re: WSOP - Betting

It's been absolutely brutal to bet on the WSOP so far if you're a chipleader or a favourites backer.

If ESPN aren't broadcasting event 13 they're bonkers...

OT: I thought it was a misprint and that 'Alan Jaffray' was supposed to be Allyn Jeffrey-Shulman who is Barry Shulman's wife. Not so.

Blinds appear to be 10000/20000 with no ante.

Pot luck and the seat assignments are pretty much as the odds have put 'em one-to-nine from the top downwards.

Jason Lester's the defending champion, Jeff Lisandro's got a good chip-lead and there's a few useful types left.

...with the trend of general no-marks winning so far I'm going to chance with one of them winning and I'll pick Travis Rice at 6/1 for £25. I rued the day I didn't back Allen Cunningham last year and he was 6/1 to win as well...I don't fancy him to win this year though! I didn't back Gavin Griffin when he was chipleader in Monte Carlo EPT Grand Final...I'll back him this time though at 9/2 for £25.

I'm relying on a Jeff Lisandro blowup and various other things going my way.

I'm gonna give myself three more goes to get some of my money back and then I'll call it it a day until the Main Event otherwise I'll have no money left.

Re: WSOP - Betting

Hi Stereoman

Yes my wallet has taking a pounding. I'm swerving this one. I haven't put the updates of who has won as anyone can easily find these on any number of sites.

Event 14 was played on and won by the German Michael Keifer i think.

So here is 13, not sure why Stan James have all the prices all over the place. Market closes at 11pm, sorry but been out 2day.

Poker-OutrightWSOP Event #13 - $5000 Pot Limit Hold'Em 23:00

Lester, Jason (295,000) 9/1
Cunningham, Allen(346,000) ) 6/1
Rice, Travis (544,000) 6/1
Jaffray, Alan (254,000) 14/1
Patrick, Joe (631,000) 5/1
Griffin, Gavin (524,000) 9/2
Brenes, Humberto (225,000) 9/1
Lehr, Keith (182,000) 20/1
Lisandro, Jeff (982,000) 2/1

Re: WSOP - Betting

Maybe they're TDP readers who wanted to save me the bother of putting what seat they're in!

Lester's in seat one, Cunningham's in seat two, Rice is in seat three...Lehr's in seat eight and Lisandro's in seat nine (seat order from the top downwards).

It's a complete coincidence that I go over to 2+2 and find that they're rooting for Rice and Griffin as well (HONEST!).

Oh dear God!

Cunningham beats Lisandro heads-up!

Rice and Griffin finish sixth and seventh!

Well I've now rued the day I haven't backed Allen Cunningham to win a bracelet at a WSOP final table twice in two years. Awesome performance from Allen as he wins a bracelet for the third year running, a feat last achieved by Erik Seidel between 1992-94.

Fcuk me, that Marco Traniello has been doing well for himself. Bet Jen Harman is raging cause her husband is better than her.

Nah, she'll just blame her kidney and she'l be fine.
