Saturday Night Poker?

Well the good lady is out leaving me in charge, so it looks like a game or two of poker methinks. Only currently in one tourney - that's the Skypoker 'Open' tonght at 9 pm.. $5500 guaranteed £10 buy-in..Lets see if I can get a mention on Sky Poker Channel...

Apart from that, nothing else, although if anyone has any recommendations I might try some others?

lol @ tumbleweed. GL to ya 2nite on the tables dude. I am going out on the razzle.. all my neg variance has come to me on 1 day and I can't win jack.. (eg 1st hand in deepstack.. my KK v AA... and so on..)

Crock 'o shit really..20 minutes late to the tables. Then the wireless decided to play up and got timed out with playable hands..Then whilst shortstacked I got suited AK - got timed out again .. Pretty dire really...And out I went..

Still..the connection seems to be better now so just entered the $2000 guaranteed $10 tourney on PKR..Always good for a laugh when I've got some wine down mi' neck..

I've just been grinding it out on iPoker all day. Dropped 750 in the first few hours. Nasty hands, flop never very helpful.

Then ground it all back up to even.

Dropped 150 there now. Tired. Stopping while I'm no too far down.

Well I managed to qualify again today for the Skybet Open tonight at 9pm..Lets hope I do a little better than the farce that was last Saturday's attempt..

Poker fans i used to subscribe to a mag called inside edge great mag full of great sports betting stuff poker etc. They gave up the sports betting side dont know why and went poker only , called inside poker i think . I keep getting sent a copy although i stoped subscribing a year ago as i am not a poker player however it looks quite good for you poker boys and girls a lot of detailed stuff on online poker and casino stuff etc, as well as good articles from pros . anyone buy the mag?

I used to get that mag Danq but it was becoming too similar to Pokerplayer mag and I prefer it so just kept the one.

Was a good read though.

Man...I am going through a terrible run of fortune in every aspect of 'financial investment'... Every bet goes down (although every bet I consider to place but don't comes in..) And as for poker - shocking just not hitting the cards and when I am some twat seems to be one step ahead of me..Sad state of affairs..God knows why I bothered trying to get in to this skybet tourney tonight.....

And yes..I am feeling sorry for myself!!!
