I do actually play poker Komp. I just don't try to make it all scientific and complicated like you lot do.

It seems a simple enough game when you're playing against simple people (which, I think you'll agree) most of the clowns on the lower stake tables are.

Prime examples tonight, you getting busted with AA and Dan Dan getting busted a couple of time with jacks because people weren't playing "as they should be playing"

The game probably is more scientific and mathamatical the higher up the food chain you go but lower down you've got to expect that shit. I know you're going to tell me that long term, these suckers are going to lose money and of course they would if they were consistantly playing against much better players but if you're regularly playing against shit players you can't really moan when your "text book" poker lets you down.

I dont know how to play text book poker ODM but i now how to win money off these cnuts. I also know how to phone for a 'chicken bucket'. In effect poker plebs pay for my chicken buckets. I forgot that you do play ODM. It's an ok game. as long as its your bitch. you alrerady know all this though. All this from a man athats never turned up for a TDP league game in his life

I want to be a big fish in a small pond. ~actually that might not be the best term of phrase. Looks like you caught me during one of my drinking periods ODM Im getting hammered at poker last few days. I should have taken raisens advice. Im in too deep now. I have to play till im skint. Im in the 'something of misery' as Mike Caros describes it. I just called someopnes all in there (3 handed) with 108s. I dont know whats right or wrong anymore. I fold when i should raise and raise when i should fold. I was going to have a day off it but instead i have decided to compound my poker misery. I agree also about the text book stuff in the company of fools and maniacs ODM. I just like to have a bit of text book up my sleeve and if you cant beat them sometimes, join them! Theres sound advice eh?
