Virgin Festival of Poker

Anyone attending this?

Takes place in Birmingham on 24th and 25th November and by the sounds of it - judging by the 8 page itinery emailed to me - will be a good crack..Loads of side events as well..

I'm in it (courtesy of the last TDP Poker League ) so I can say that I am 'officially' representing TDP at the Tourney.. However don't get too excited at the possible prospect of a TDP winner (200 entrants with £6500 to the winner...) as I've not ever played a live game before.. Nearest I have got to this is playing PKR....

Still should be an experience if nothing else...Maybe I can get the worst bad beat and win 50000 v miles...

Was actually going to ask if you were still going, no need to now. We're not going but Ed's best friend Steph is going. So if you're on his table say hi.

Good luck and hope you do TDP proud. Sorry we never ran anymore leagues to give you some company.

Good luck trick, looks like you're on your own.. First live game or not you will be in with a good shout I'd say as most of the folk attending are donkeys from what I've seen. Bring it home baby.

@ Sid..Maybe taking out a PLer will be a success then ?

Anyhow thanks for good luck stuff.. Still tryin to persuade one of my mates to go - as none of 'em play poker, so trying to convince them that it would be a good idea to spend all day in a casino watching people play poker aint easy..

The drinking is always good for the non players and they quickly get lots of company as folks drop like flies.
