Bad timing

Playing some $0.5/$1 cash table, and this guy is literally min re-raising ever single time I raise, he has been for 45 minutes. So I decide the next decent hand I get will be re-raised all in after he raises (a reasonable strategy against him I think), providing no-one else is in the hand.

So finally I get KQ (instead of my usual raising hands, 86o, 25o etc), raise to $4, he (as expected) re-raises and I move in. He calls, and has AA Needless to say I didn't get lucky.

Morale of the story, not sure really.

Re: Bad timing

Again, like the move Dave but not with KQ. I'd take a flop and go from there, I'd imagine your edge will come from you hitting the board fairly well and him not getting away from a weaker holding. You reduce variance as well. Punish him giving you good odds to hit postflop.

Re: Bad timing

if he's minraising repop him with sc's, gappers and broadways.. he will fold a lot, and when he doesn't hitting the flop with well disguised hands will mean payday.

you need to show these punks who is boss quite quickly - a don't fuck with me table image is essential on a cash table FTW. sometimes i shove all in, watch em fold and show 87s, then tighten my range and take their chips... if they call u still have a lot of equity against any range that calls you.

remember it's only a buyin - so be prepared to lose one to make 3.. too many ss cash players are too cautious with their stacks imo.
