WHAT IS THE WORLD POKER CROWN?

The 888.com World Poker Crown (WPC) is a $3m guaranteed no-limit Hold’em tournament with a difference. The tournament will start on April 26 as a $1,000 + $50 online tournament at 888.com and will play down as normal until there are just eight players left. The last men standing (well, sitting) will be whisked off to Peralda Castle in Barcelona (see pictures on the left), to play in a televised final table to decide who deserves to wear the World Poker Crown and walk away with a guaranteed $1,000,000 first prize! CLAIM THE CROWN!

We’ve got four $1,000 seats to give away in our exclusive World Poker Crown freerolls. That’s right, FOUR $1,050 SEATS! And we’re running seven freerolls to qualify through to our April 16 final. Ten PokerPlayer readers will qualify from each tournament to make up a 70-man field.
The winner of each freeroll will receive an 888.com chipset, but all eyes will be on the top four spots in April that will send a quartet of players through to the big-money online final. We’re running four freerolls this month and another three next month before the April 16 qualifying final.

HOW TO REGISTER

1. Download the free Pacifi c Poker software from Online Casino & Online Poker Room - 888.com.
2. Send an email to pokerplayer@888.com with your user ID (log-in name not screen name) and the password for the next freeroll. After that 888.com will manually enter you into the tournament. It is necessary to send an individual email in the week preceding each tournament to minimise sit-outs.
3. Log on before the tournament begins. Play. Win. Go to Barcelona. Win. Celebrate.
REGISTRATION

Send an email to pokerplayer@888.com with your log-in name and the password for the freeroll, in the week preceding the freeroll. You need to do this at least four hours before the start of each freeroll to be entered.
