Re: Bragging Rights

wp.

I suspect (given that the post 2 posts ago was your biggest ever cash win) that you are playing well above your bankroll. it should be about 6k if you are on 5/10 nl.??

Ship it baby

What does that mean MrM?

Not really a cash player Alex to be honest, and yes it was way way above my bankroll. Normally I just stick to MTT's but sometimes when I've had some dutch courage I fire into the cash games, defo out my league in there but my trouble is my lack of patience, ie when i play $0.25/$0.50 I get so bored with the lack of a buzz and small pots, so I just thought I'd buy in mith the minimum and have a gamble, obviously I'm risking cleaning myself out but I started 18 months ago with £20 so it wouldn't be a big deal if I went bust. I left that table at 6am with $1750 so I was happy. I'll take that as a lucky session and I won't be playing in there again.

With regard to what my roll should be to play there, only $2k so yes, well above where I should be.

It just means like taking a shot. Taking a small amount and trying to run it into something big. That sort of thing. Gambooool

Re: Bragging Rights

yeah spinning the wheel = playing roullete = outright gambling. If you can afford to do this then its no bother if you fancy a wee spin. I spin the omaha wheel everytime i go to the casino

Aye Jez that's exactly what it was, a gamble. Was prepared to go bust if it failed. For the record though, after I doubled my min buy in I felt I could play a bit and was taking it seriously and actually enjoyed the session, was a real buzz. Just never sure what I should be doing to be honest, I think I have a good tournament game but a lot to learn from a cash game point of view.
