Betfair Downtime Tournament

Betfair are having a downtime tournament on 3 July at 5pm.

This time they are adding 10 trips to the carribean instead of extra cash.

Anyone from here going to play.

Re: Betfair Downtime Tournament

There is just the entry fee of $25 (+Comm)

They have this tournament on the first sunday of each month if their servers have been down for a certain amount of time. Normally they add $50,000 to the prize fund. This time they have done this.
You will find the details on the MTT tabs.

Re: Betfair Downtime Tournament

I finished about 280th

I was knocked out by someone from PL who went on to finish 37th for a tidy profit - but no carribean trip

Re: Betfair Downtime Tournament

I was beaten by Plow King who I believe is a mate of Jezzas

He used my chips very well though to finish 37th

It was a good tourney where we started with 2000 chips and the blinds were at 15 min intervals. I had one of those frustrating games where every time I had a hand everyone else folded so I never really got started. eventually with the blinds at 150/300 and 25 antes I had around 2000 chips so had to go with something and as he had raised before me I hoped he had AK so went all in with 44. He did have AK but won so no bad beat or anything for me.

It was a good structure and with the extra thrown in it made it good value to play in. Hopefully there will be another next month.

And strangely less than 1000 people took part
