Probably not perfect, but I just called out of position(his raise wasn't giving much away as to what hand he might have) given that I thought I could probably get him to stick a fair amount of his chips in post flop regardless, so I could look forward to a fairly big pot if I hit, and could toss them away pretty cheaply if I missed.

As it was, his little pause then all in simply screamed that he had missed and wanted the pot with little extra fuss, so I went with my instinct on this one.

Best to go with your instinct in situations like that Beanie, its correct a lot more often than not (as long as youir a decent player ). Always sweet when you take it down with the old Ace Hi

Check this hand I just had over at Ladbrokes. No copy and paste hand history available there (to my knowledge) so Ill just have to write it out

Its impossible not to win when you flop a hand this big but it was definitely played in the best way possible imo.

I check, he bets $7 into $23. I call.

I go for the mighty River checkraise, cos I think hell bluff at it one more time OR he actually has hit something good I hope like Jacks full

He bets $14 into $36. Looks almost like a value bet to me rather than a bluff so no pussying about with this minraise bollocks I checkraise him all in to $74.

Beautiful flop after the min raiser, its easy to check here and id say bad players would do that but most on here would obv bet out, I could bet pot but I think nah this guy has raised in that area, maybe QQ maybe KK maybe AK QK, im gonna bet big and figure he wont be able to fold his big hand.

Bet 2x pot on flop, 2x flop on turn then I had about $38 left on the river but i just decided to bet 30 for some reason. Both have around 1 and 1/2 buy in at the table.

Nothing skillfull here really. Well perhaps in a sense. There is a guy on tilt here and I am looking to bust him. It's working out how really. I had flat called with pocket queens a few hands ago waiting on him to raise but it never came.
I finally pick up AA but am in the small blind, grrrrr and there have been loads of limpers so I can't really flat call this in case he checks.
In the mindset he is in I figure he might go for one of those tilt re-raises expecting me to lay my hand down and that's exactly what he did !
Gotta love what he called me with Flop was pretty good too, turn even better

The guy is on serious tilt. With AA I don't have to worry I know I am ahead, I just pray it holds up. With JJ I'm still almost certainly alot ahead. Only QQ KK AA to worry about. If it is, tough shit. Anything else and I am fine, better an under pair than 2 over cards of course though. The guy was just doing mental stuff. Blatently obvious he was tilting long before the AA. I mean feck he called my all in with 6-2 off suit ! It's chance to get all the cash in preflop where I am like 95%+ certain I am well ahead, I gotta take that really don't I ?

Wonder about anything bar AA-JJ, tricky calls for your whole stack with anything else. I guess with 1010 and 99 you expect to be infront and AK and AQ have big chances, guess youd have to call with those 4 hands also but I wouldnt enjoy it. I wouldnt call with anything bar those hands.
