HERE IS ONE FROM ME FROM SUMMER 2004 (IT was a 4/8 shorthanded NL table - buy in 800)

The convertor has messed up a bit so excuse the bad layout, I had to pull it out of old pokertracker logs and the HH there for prima is not the greatest - however top pair 8 kicker is still THE NUTS.

My excuse? I was drunk and on KBd by a female tilt

Nicely done there jezza its hard to fold a monster like A8 aint it and that was superb Beanie I have plenty of these from tilting but im not one for saving them!

Tell you what though the other night I was drunk and I had still some of my money from that MTT win i had and thought fuck it im playing some $50 heads up! Which is like a full buy in for me at 25c/50c.

Great idea I thought, yeah! Anyway this guy I thought was so easy to read, raised my big blind every hand without fail and from then on only called and very rarely raised.

About 15 hands in I get dealt AQ and as usual he raises me on my BB so I re-raise him and he calls, flop comes QQ8 and im thinking get it up ya!

I bet a smaller amount than my raise instead of checking which I thought would scream I had the Queen. He calls and the turn is a 6. So this time I bet again a smallish amount and he raises me and I couldnt beleive it, so im all in! He calls and shows Q6 And that was the end of my $50.

Not quite a donkey but I was a donkey for playing it in the first place. Of course I was there screaming im so unlucky to my mate

It is DEBATEABLE....To be fair I obv went in behind but I wouldnt call it true donkeyness (although you are right alien its bad)


I dont have the hand history cos it was on laddies but I remember it pretty well.

but

He had about 3500 chips, I had about 9000 and was on the big blind.

Blinds were 150/300 - freezeout to get to the cruise, 151 entrants and 15 people got a package, about 40 left.

He was on the cutoff (1 away from the button) and raised making it 900 to go. I had J10o on the big blind, and since I like to defend I decided to play it. He was short so I had already decided if I got a semi decent piece of the flop he was being put all in. The flop was 9 10 2

Now I decided to go for a checkraise here as I was sure being short he was going to bet, adn sure enough he bet 1k. I checkraised all in and he called with A10 (oops). The turn was an 8 giving me mega outs....and the river....a big fat JACK (Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom)
