Re: US MASTERS : 10-13th April

Yeah looks like a decent TDP day, Friday and Saturday are 'moving days' so lots of ups and downs to come...

Looking forward to sitting back and enjoying another day - thought Mickelson looked a bit out of sorts, and got out of jail with that chip in at number 1 for birdie as it was atleast a bogey if the flag hadnt stopped it! Tiger tricky to weigh up - on the one hand this is how he seems to start all his Masters, with a typical Friday and Saturday charge to follow, but on the other he did struggle a little yesterday, and his driving was pretty apalling, in the trees every time I looked. But again, its a concern that he can be off the fairway so often, hole very few of his putts, and still walk off at even par.

And will the English challenge do its usual and be over by lunchtime on Friday?

Re: US MASTERS : 10-13th April

A word for Freddie Couples - I'm not entirely sure what happened - he was stretching his back all the way round yesterday which is never a good sign, altho was still booming his drives well enough. Hopefully he isnt injured as from what I saw of him yesterday he was unlucky with a couple of putts and could easily have been round in +1/+2, but needs to get a move on today.

On the pre-BBC coverage, the yanks were saying his back was playing up. Disaster, but not out of it if he gets it cleared up.

1613: Sensational stuff from Snedeker, who cards two successive birdies on the sixth and seventh hole to take a one-shot lead over Trevor Immelman.

Snedeker leads on -6 Theres a bit of glory for a while if nothing else anyway

Some spot muze - he's playing superbly - just the one bogey on 18 yesterday and he was a little unlucky with that one - keep going Brandt!

No idea snod - clear your cookies mibbe? Or you temp internet files? Im a noob with these things.

Sned still putting well - holding at -6. I guess everyone's round really depends on what Tiger comes out and does later on!

Hopefully can get a bit fortunate with the Couples Cut bet - its top 44 and ties, or all those within 10 strokes of the leader - so that could mean a cut line around +4.

Re: US MASTERS : 10-13th April

Woah Immelman birdying the 17 and 18th thats immenselman for -8 and a 2nd consecutive 68. Clear lead for him overnight that should be. But can he hold himself together from a leading position going out as a part of a final pairing? The answers usually no for most players but so far he has been almost flawless.

Players on +3 and +4 arent gona be happy thats reeeeally gona tighten up the cut mark. At the moment +3 is tied 44th so one shot from someone cuts out a whole bunch. Nice small field for the weekend hopefully

Re: US MASTERS : 10-13th April

Am pretty glad i didn't re-invest on Calc today. First chance today to take a look, and i see he has gone round in 80!

Notice that Baddeley and Choi are teetering around the cut mark, but with plenty of players still to come in then i can see the cut line moving out to +5 and possbily even +6 but Goosen and Johnson are still going ok at the moment.

Roll on 9.30pm!! (gonna have to postpone Golf for Benidorm - sad I know!!)
