ok m8 its pretty much solved now but why didht you just make a contination bet on the flop in both situation to take the guessing out of the game 2/3 of the pot is enought to find out were you are if called shut down or if reraises see how much more it is for you to call and uses the pot odds. hope this helps.

ps your right about the overbet looks like a scarde bet to me.
