Defintiely should of folded looking back, 2 people in front of him 10 7 and Q 10 are beating me.

Easy to say in hindsight though.

I think ill just keep posting big pots where I loose for the next few months

Christian - you have a big flaw in your game, and that is you don't seem to be able to deal with losing a hand without thinking you played it wrong. You have to learn that sometime the chips are going in regardless and there is nothing you can do about these situations where you have a great hand but someone has a slightly better one.

In this situation, kentyu's all in SCREAMS out that he has a draw, and ExitDarko could easily have a set, pair and a flush draw, J9 (:D) or a range of other hands (this is .25/.50 remember). I have been known to make some pretty big laydowns and I'm not folding here.

Just stick your chips in, forget about it and move on. Even the best players in the world lose pots like this sometimes. There's no avoiding these situations.

On that note - Chris, you remind me of the guy that went out the very first hand of the World Series main event this year. He raised preflop with TT, and Sammy Farha called him with AT. The flop brings AAT and I think you can guess how the hand panned out. This is the first hand of the WSOP MAIN EVENT and the guy can do absolutely NOTHING to avoid spending $10,000 on receiving one set of hole cards.

Basically, shit happens.

yep - you played this ok IMO. If the table is as loose as it seems (and you knew this) then a bigger bet on the flop might have been in order. The problem with your bet is that just one caller gives implied odds to someone drawing to a spade flush, or with an open ended draw. If the guy had QTspades, then I'd say he was justified in calling. The turn is just an unlucky card for you and I don't think there is much wrong with how you played it from there.

Everything was spot on there Chris apart from you should have made a bigger bet on the flop. $1.50 into a $2.50 pot is a bit weak should be $2.50 minimum bet there. I know you had a made straight with a flush draw but still you dont want everyone calling there by any means.

In this case im sure they would have called anyway but in future you should look to bet the pot really and maybe even a tad more if you dont want people outdrawing you as you are out of position.

You had a big hand though and I cant fault anything else there, you had to go with it the whole way, unlucky mate.

Ha ha we still on about spelling, should have obviously but im not writing a novel, Im posting on a message board and ive gone throught enough times about how I've got enough English qulaifications not to be concerned about it so no point going through this again.

Of course Im not gonna fold when im holding the nuts with an open ended straight flush draw, its when the turn comes and im no longer holding the nuts and anyone holding 7 10 or Q10 is beating me.

Think about it, somebody has gone all in, I've called and then ExitDarko now goes all in over the top of me, two people in front of him and he has still done this, he is not exactly going to be holding a pair is he or a draw? If it was a draw he would of called. He knows he cant bet me out of the pot with a bluff. 2 Pair? Not with that scary board, he knows lots of things are beating him.

So in fact I still think in hindsight regardless of what people have said I should have folded. The only saving grace I had was a flush draw and I wasnt getting odds for that either when I made the call.

Its so outrageous to disagree with you bunch of arrogant tosspots isnt it, how dare anyone do such a thing.
