Virtual Racing Punter

I dont seem to be able to find detailed racecards like the ones in the betting shops on the net so I can start keeping records,so its a longshot, but is there anyone out there that keeps stats.
Ok its Random Number Generated,I got that.

What I need to know if Colours are involved ie,Caps
What about Silks again Colours or Patterns
And what of the jockeys do they ride doubles, trebles and so on
The going what does that spring up,ie does soft ground favour thoose with a blue cap.

If all else fails I might have to start going to the betting shop to make notes on the racecards and then check them against the results

Re: Virtual Racing Punter

I was always under the impression that it was random but my belief in this was tested when I was at the Grand National meeting in 2006 with some friends.
One of my friends who is a Liverpool fan and was under the influence of John Smith , decided to spend the periods betwwen races drinking and virtual betting due to the rain and cold wind.
His "system" that day was to bet on everything that had any connection with Liverpool.
He won more that day on the virtual than on proper racing . He paid for a Chinese Banquet for the four of us that evening on his winnings.
Not a very scientific reply and not a system I would ever follow.

my old man used to do the same with what he called 'double-barrelled' names. 2 worded horses starting with same letter (Fast Feet) or 3rd/4th letter same (Massive) and youd be surprised how many and at what stupid prices some come in at.

Re: Virtual Racing Punter

I use the VR in the winter when everything else is getting abandoned. If you watch the first few races and note the odds of the winners you can then decide what price to go for in the next races, if two favs have just won it pays to go e.w on a couple of outsiders or if there hasnt been a fav winning in the last 3 i cover the first two in the betting in the next.

VR isn't as bad as people make out, if you watch the odds of the last few winners it gives you a better chance of winning. Of course it's not to be taken seriously but if there's not many other betting alternatives and you're looking for a quick betting fix i find i'm luckier doing this than any other alternative, in fact i'd go as far to say i'm up on VR even if it is all down to luck.

Just note the odds of the last few winners, that's my policy.
