Re: Horse Notebook - Flat Season

Suspender ran today for Dandy Nicholls (first time out)
Ran green in a below average race, showed speed then looked green before coming again.
10,000 gns buy 7f will be her minimum will get further in time,I would give this one time and maybe later in the season once she gets a hcap mark she just might win,the trainer lives on picking up h'caps and places horses in races were they can get a price too, usually with an apprentice or a stable jockey on board,if this is the case here the first win wont come with the son on board Adrian Nicholls.

well i'm not keen on the 3/1 - doesn't seem value even if the horse is well drawn

just watching this one (again)

runs in the 3.50 at York today over a furlong less 3/1 fav, only having his 3rd run so worth an interest even though 2lb wrong in the weights

runs in the 9.10 Hamilton tonight, 5lb out of the handicap and although his last run in a claimer suggests he can win off this mark, the trainer's record here is very poor - one to watch or maybe EW @ 20/1?
