Brazil – Chile

Brazil lost their first match of this tournament and that was one of the biggest surprises so far. Not that Brazil is unbeatable, but mostly because Mexico was rated as big outsider because of their squad troubles. Brazil started very slow on that match and it was obvious that they miss their stars big time, but also Dunga had some weird decisions about the squad. For example, he is putting Vagner Love in first eleven and he is the weakest player in the whole team, in my opinion. I hope today he will be substituted earlier.
Chile played very bad first half against Ecuador, but after some substitutions, they started to play much better, took control and turned the result in their favor. According to the players that are playing, Brazil is better team, but they showed that this Brazil is not that Brazil we used to watch. Chile’s motivation to play against the strongest national team will be huge and knowing that they already have win, the pressure will be way on Brazil’s side.
Brazil played some good 30 minutes against Mexico, when they dominated the match and created many goal scoring opportunities and scored a goal that was unfairly disallowed. Brazilian players and coach are under huge pressure, because if they fail to win, they could say goodbye to this tournament and that will be start from hell for their new coach Dunga. I think that he learned the lesson from the match against Mexico and he will play the way he played in the last 30 minutes. Although, Chile has very good team, Brazil will be the team who will be controlling the match and taking three points in order to stay in this tournament.
