Re: Next Permanent England Manager?

Rednapp @ 20/1 would seem a good bet as he's probably the best english manager around at the moment.

If we decided to go continental again then Mourinhio would probably prove a popular choice as he does have a lot of English fans including myself and more importantly he knows the English game.
He is a bit of a one man band though and outspoken which is something the FA don't usually like.

Re: Next Permanent England Manager?

I cant see it being Hiddink because when Russia go through to the Euro's, he will have unfinished business and wont want to jump ship to join England.

The 4-man shortlist for England boss last time round included Curbs, Allardyce, McLaren and O'Neill. Redknapp didnt make the final 4 so cant see him being in the running now.

Will the English media drive the bandwagon in the direction of a foreign gaffer, in light of the dearth of English talant? Fuck me, if Allardyce and Curbs are the best England has to offer, Jonny Foreigner might be the only option.

Capello is unemployed at the moment isnt he?

Whats Stuart Pearce up to these days? Maybe a good shot at 16/1?

Next England Manager

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

I noticed Steve Bruce's transfer to Wigan was delayed today, for no apparent reason. Was he sounded out about the possibility of the England job?

Lets have a look at the runners and riders for the England job....

The BBC website says that the FA meet at 0830 in the morning to discuss what a complete waste of skin Mclaren is....

or something like that.
