Thats right, thedailypunt.com is hosting its very own Poker league and anyone is free to sign up, even that cunt Alien.
Its completely free to enter and there are a lot of prizes up for grabs, so get your name down!
The Details:
We will open up registration for the
TDP Poker League for the next week and the final number of names signed up will be divided into leagues, with a maximum of 10 per league.
TDP will host a weekly game for each league running a total of 10 weeks. Each weekly game is free to enter and all players will enter with the same amount of chips with the places given:
1st= 5pts
2nd= 3pts
3rd= 2pts
At the end of the running total of 10 weeks places 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each league will be given prizes accordingly. The higher the league you are in the higher prize you will get. The league system will also include a 2 up, 2 down system, you could be the
TDP's very own East Stirling!
Number of Entrants:
Minumum: 10
Maximum: 50
Dont sweat if you missed this first season of
TDP Poker, we will be running a new season immediately after the first. The maximum number of entrants will increase as time goes on.
You will be allowed to miss 2 of the 10 games per season and any more non-shows than the allowed amount, and you will be removed from the Poker League for that season.
Prize details will follow when we know the number of leagues and players, but we have a prize pool of £tbc so no need to worry about that. In order to decide which player starts in which league we will take factors such as Post count and longetitvity of stay into account, as well as a random draw.
The poker games will be set up on
bet365 private games option. You can of course access the game with other clients on the same network, such as
stanjames for instance.
The schedule for games will be posted once leagues are finalised.
As they are league games we shall use the minimum buy in of $1 + 0.10
This will mean there is a $10 prize pool for each league game as well.
The games will be set up as multi-table tournaments in order to use a timed blind structure. This also means we will be unable to wait on late arrivals and games will start when scheduled.
