Re: Euro 2008 Quals - 28th March

I don't think AZerbauijan could pose any problem for Finland, but in football anything is possible. Just take a look at what happend to Serbia on saturday.
I will risk 1X here.

Re: Euro 2008 Quals - 28th March

Also think Finland will win comfortably enough.

Main bet for me of the round has to be Turkey a team who are defending well, only conceded one goal so far and had a great win away to Greece at the weekend and on the other hand Norway slumped to defeat at home to Bosnia.

Others i like are Sweeden who are unbeaten, Portugal who are playing a Serbia team who lost to Kazakhstan. Slovakia +1 is a bet i also fancy but could also near do them in a single as Ireland are shocking at the minute. Also think Holland will get the job done even though they knocked me at the weekend.

Re: Euro 2008 Quals - 28th March

Serbia v Portugal Under 2.5, Portugal X2

According to last news, and announcement made by Portugal doctor, Ronaldo is slightly injured (foot) and he probably wont play tonight.
Scolari said that one point from this game could satisfied Portugal side, and after a shamefuly performance in Kazahstan, Clemente, Serbian coach will be also more than satisfied with single point.
I expect very cautios approach from both sides, since looser in this game could lost much more and draw, as said, fits all.
Serbian team is without suspended Zigic, with Pantelic upfront...btw he didnt show anything in Kazahstan, and I cant see him as a potential danger for expirienced Portugal defense.Trisovic will try to help him, but unexpirienced player as he is against great Portugal defense...I doubt it.
On the other side Serbian defense will be boosted by return of confidental fighters as Dragutinovic, Krstajic and Dulaj are, and along with in- form Vidic, they are the strongest part of our team.

Frankly, I dont think that Serbia could win this one.
Portugal is much better team at the moment, and first option for this game must be under 2,5 goals together with laying hosts.
I dont like playing unders (last time I did it , Cork won by 7-0) so better option is Portugal x2.
Personally, I'll try with a small punt on correct score 0-0.

Slovenia v Holland Away Win

Not much to say about this.
Clearly better side, must win match.

Italia v Scotland Home Win

Sorry but Italians know how to win in this kind of matches.
Constant pressure on referee by players and the crowd, simulations, penalties...
And first of all, Italians are better, more quality at their side...everyone must agree about this.
Probably narrow result, something like 1-0 ....but three points will stay in Italy.

Bulgaria v Albania Home Win

Georgia, Spain
and Czech, all home wins.

Re: Euro 2008 Quals - 28th March

Back again to the forum after several weeks. I got married and had a thorough rest from betting, today will be my first punt since the beginning of the month.
So I'm definitely taking Bulgaria -1.5 in BF at 1.68 after commission.
It should be at least 2:0 or 3:1, Bulgaria have strong offensive power, the guests played poor football during the weekend (as usual), they have bad coach and weak offence. If something doesn't go tits up this should be an easy home win tonight.
Bulgaria ht/ft is a good bet as well.

GL everyone

Congradulations Engineer and it's nice to see the 'old ball and chain' has gave you a bit of time off. You'll be betting now to buy new fridges etc no doubt

Just to mention that most of the games are on internet stream (see fixed thread in Live Forum) I dont have much of a clue about internationals as i've never liked anything 'popular' in my life but i will be taking some prime cuts from this thread and having a bet.

Feel free to tell us here what your betting folks even if your just a lurker or a member that hasnt made that leap from lurking member to active member. Your gonna have to post sometime so it mighjt as well be today on this splendid night of football.

Come on Andorra. Make England the laughing stock of Europe

I will bet on Ukraine HC today. They will play with Sheva today.Andrej Voronin will play at his home town in Odessa.

The strikers are to strong for Lithaunia defenders.

Odds aroudn 2,05

Re: Euro 2008 Quals - 28th March

NEWS ALERT!
Ive decided not to throw away 40K on a straght win with those over rated , overpaid shysters called the England football team.
I am instead giving Shrek a chance-- Rooney to score anytime
and a goal in first 18 minutes --- SURELY ANDORRA WONT TAKE THAT LONG!! good luck all

I fancy, in a non sexual sense, Lennon or Terry anytime 4.6/5.0. Italy win margin plus one/two/three. Koumas anytime 3.25 william hilll. Northern ireland on the plus one handicap as I think it will finish a draw.Doyle anytime market 2.75 ladbrokes and Solvakia to at least get a draw against Ireland.
And breathe.

Re: Euro 2008 Quals - 28th March

:wasntme

By the way can't see Lithuania not winning with two goals at least at Lichtenstein. So one more bet from me - it'll be Lithuania -1,5 at BF.
