I'm getting a new phone: advice

I'm on my way out now....but, I'm getting a new phone soon , so I can have global coverage and call direct to Uk etc..

It has to have a camera as I've never had one , but I want to download onto the pc and send them to the family..that has to be a feature

I like BASIC phones..nothing all techo-arsewipe that you see....I want something that makes calls takes calls txts and takes pics

I am really keen on the motorola Rzr V3...looks ace...or Samsung styles....anyway..I know shit all about them , so give me your suggestions or a top 3 would be good...

If you like any tell me which ones and i will sell you it for a nice price as i am due a free upgrade very soon and im entitled to any phone on there and im quite happy with what i have.

Some very nice phones out there at the minute but i don't know them by name so i guess im a useless cnut and i better go discuss the X Factor

Sorry eddy. From what I recall reading the Razor is all about looks and you're paying for the material it's made from. For decent quality pics go for a phone with mega pixel, at least 1.3 - the Sony phones use the same technology in their cams as the sony digi cams so you tend to find they're the best quality overall although the differences between the top phones aren't major to be honest. I have a Sony S700i and the pics are rather good although not the best in low light conditions. You'll find the likes of the Samsung D500 are better in low light. Almost all new phones have bluetooth built in so once you add a simple USB bluetooth dongle to your comp, uploading pics etc is easy.

Ehhhhm, I'm not sure what your best buy would be as I'm not sure how much phones are. I'm on contract and get a free one every year. I think all you really want to look out for is at least 1.3 mega pixel camera - if you can get better than that then sweet. You can take videos too with all the newer phones. And record farts.

Got one of them Samsung D500 phones.
Great phone , battery lasts for ages , and its got a decent camera on it.
Dunno how to work it , but the kids reckon its a " dead cool phone "

I will have a look at the Samsung range ...good advice...'fart recording' is indeed one of the key factors in deciding a phone...

Kiko...appreciate the offer, but it would be too much hassle sorting out the delivery, payment etc as I'm not in Uk. However , I would be interested in your bird's 'used' knickers ..not the ones you use after her, but strictly '1 time, original owner' stuff....big market for that out here...mmm, cough..not me!..no no no..

V3 the camera is shite Eddy. Samsung D600 depending on your budget and contract etc would be my choice. A 2 mega pixel camera and good fart recording as well.

However my own real preference would be the new Nokia N90 but unfortunately its what you might call a techno arsewipe phone .

The reason i like it being you can get TomTom mobile to go on it, and then it does video, calls, Sat Nav and speed camera detection. If you would be interested in techno arsewipe Nokia i can help on give more info.

The problem you have eddy is that all the new phones are full to the brim with techy stuff so if you want a decent camera you'll have to take all the rest of it I think. Having an mp3 player aint so bad really and you can upload loads of games new and old for sitting on the lav. Or the bus.

I will take all of this wonderful advice on board...the bus...the bus lavvy , that is...where I'm wiping my arse with techno , and playing games....sounds not bad actually!
