I have no idea about all this. Here's bettingzone's thoughts though
Quote:
"Unstoppable!" ran the headline of last Thursday's Autosport magazine, and that word seemed to sum up Lewis Hamilton's weekend perfectly.
Hamilton was in such a class of his own in the last race at Hockenheim that not even a pitwall blunder from his McLaren team could deny him a stirring win.
After showing his class at a soaking Silverstone two weeks previously, few had expected Hamilton and his car to maintain such a decisive advantage at a track where the front two looked likely to be closely matched.
But Ferrari simply did not turn up.
The sight of Felipe Massa unable to even muster a challenge to runner-up Nelson Piquet in the closing stages must have furrowed the brow of Scuderia team principal Stefano Domenicali, but watching Hamilton then breeze past both cars will surely have brought him out in a cold sweat.
Only four weeks previously Massa and Kimi Raikkonen had cruised to an ominous-looking one-two at Magny-Cours as McLaren's drivers struggled from mid-grid starting positions, but crucial car improvements introduced at Silverstone and Hockenheim appear to have gifted the Woking team a significant pace advantage as the season heads towards its summer break.
But first the teams must tackle one of the schedule's less-loved races, the Hungarian Grand Prix from the Hungaroring near Budapest.
This is a circuit at which McLaren would be strong favourites for victory even without the dominant display from Germany still fresh in the bookies' minds.
Last year saw Hamilton take a relatively straightforward victory from pole position following then team-mate Fernando Alonso's grid penalty for deliberately blocking Hamilton in the pitlane and denying him a chance of a final flying qualifying lap.
Raikkonen was able to pressurise Hamilton in the pair's final stint but the Brit kept his rival behind and held on for victory.
This year it can be argued that McLaren look to have even more time in hand over Ferrari, so at a circuit which should play to their strengths more than Hockenheim, Hamilton looks good value at 6/5 to chalk up a third successive victory.
He has certainly cast team-mate Heikki Kovalainen into the shade since the Finn took pole position at Silverstone four weeks ago.
Kovalainen seems to have struggled to get to grips with the aero changes to the McLaren that has transformed its performance in the hands of Hamilton.
He could not hold a candle to the championship leader last time out despite driving the same machinery, but it would be foolish to write the former Renault man off here, which the bookies appear to have done.
Kova is out at 9/4 to beat one of the Ferraris to a podium slot, which looks far too long given the pace advantage the McLaren boys appear to be enjoying.
His pole lap at Silverstone was outstanding, as have been some of his other drives earlier on in the season such as Bahrain and Turkey, so anyone dismissing the Finn from grabbing a decent result here may be in for a shock.
He came a creditable eighth in a Hungarian Grand Prix of little attrition last year (then team-mate Giancarlo Fisichella was a lapped 12th) and finished as runner-up in GP2 here in 2005 so he knows his way around the track.
Given that Hamilton has been relatively hit-and-miss in qualifying this season, it's also tempting to back Kovalainen for pole position at 10/1.
It's unlikely that McLaren would risk compromising Hamilton's race strategy by having him stuck behind his team-mate for the opening stint, but if Kova can get to grips with it, the car is certainly capable of pole.
With a likely pace advantage, Sky Bet's double figure price with one-fifth each way terms for the first three.
