Observations On Poker - For Video

Been having a watch of the PPC videos, pretty good stuff.

I'm going to join you on that 2010 WSOP bid. I'm going to have a go at it the next few years too, but prob won't be good enough til then.

(komp here) Well as i dont really have much to live for Raisin ive decided to make this something to do me till im 40. from now till then just poker and internet. I want to win a lace or earn enough to buy a place. Hopefully have some fun recording it on the way.

I see from the blog though that your up nearly 100 this week. Thats great!

When I'd just started I wasn't up that much in one week for nearly a year I think.

Keep it up, lots more to learn, you'll only get better.

Thanks Raisin. I do think it is like playing hte guitar in that all you can do is practise practise practise and eventually it will all sink in. then you can start developing your own style etc. As i say its WSOP 2010 or bust Raisin. Your welcome to come along. We've got plenty of time to get prepared and who knows what can happen from now till then. all i know is that i'll be 40 if im still alive and the world cup will be on and i will have been playing poker for 3 years. After WSOP 2010 i'll have to re-evaluate my life possibly. Least from now till then its a great excuse for me to do my utmost just to sit and play Fcuk Great, im away for a game the now. I put so much pressure on myself in games. im terrible. Its the smoke. sometimes it works for you and sometimes against you.

Nothing was said to me after all that raisin. I used it to my own poker needs though and decided to just play my last bucks off and not go into the internet browsers. I was tired too and slept from 1am till 8am this morning but i wont mention that. A terrible day turned into a terrible night for me Raisin. I really am brought down to earth with a bump. Ive forgotten how to win and my confidence is blitzed. I need to pick it up today but im still a bit tired (excuses excuses lol)



Hows that for a complete stinker. bah fcuking humbug. The only thing in my fdefence was i played 2 or 3 30 man stts and just failed in them. Well i failed in everything i entered but i wont go on

Best way to get your game sorted is to take a few days off it.

Hard to do but usually works a treat.

right ive managed to sort out my vid cam with my dvd player and a portable telly. Should be a permanent set-up in my room so thus allowing me to make an arse of myself on a more regular basis. Im just uploading my test video to see how it goes so i'll just type till it uploads (21mb)

I think maybe the best way to start is for me to maybe emulate a beginners video for now and then look at adding to it. The emulation will just be for test purposes and in time im gonna get all the best bits off all my vids, sort it into chapters and then start writing each chapter (5 mins say) and then start my Youtube (shit i should have uploaded it to youtube to see the qual) - i will do in a sec) With a wee bit of thought and effort i could make them a laugh and also be entertaining and also be quite informative too. I'll rewrite it enough to make it property of me and good pokering skills is just general knowledg anyhow. you never know they might just end up being quite good and maybe give TDP a bit more exposure.

errrr aye it should be easy as the basic structure is already there and it will just be me recreating things. This video of me is me in my natural state and maybe i could have at least brushed my hair. Hopefully in time i can be a bit better about the camera and hopefully i can think of a few good characters etc and it should be fun. dum dee dum. nah it will be shit but it will be fun on the way. I never watch any of the clips myself as i believe ignorance is bliss at times. I'll look at criticle acclaim later in the vids. I will also go and unpack the best of movie software i have there (about 3 grands worth ) and have fun learning some effects etc. bah its proccessing now. Ill add the link in a bit. ill go upload to youtube while im waiting.

edit: for the final production i probably will look at a higher quality of film. at the mo im just WMV 9'ing it
