Limits - How Good Are they?

Sorry for th ambigious title. this could be posted in the tournament forum but maybe its just the same all round. I stared off playing last year stricgly playing $1 and $2 stt and mtt's. I don play cash games as im a bit wreckless and i can lose a night's profit in one hand. yes i know. Anyhow i like stt's and mtt's as its a case of WINNING and as a competative person i like winning. I like sticking my cock up men's arse in a metaphorical way. I like being a winner and having something to measure my success. anyhow.

i moved onto $5 games and soon found that i tend to win them too. Yes i will meet better players but still i am better than them at making decisions and winning pots i should not be winning. Peopel became easy to read and they bet if they had ist and would check if they didnt. So i moved onto $10 gamesand now ihave founf my level. there will be 2 oe 3 'cheeky' players in every stt i play but again i still expect to win and genrrally do. anyhomw my question is this. how far up does the donks still play or are there donks in every level? I presume you just meet more players like me with a little undertsandment of the game and the confidence to mix things up as we go to play a good steady game.

My problem is that i dont have enough money to get out of $5 stt hell. If i could save some should i play bigger games and will i still meet 9/10th of the table ot being able to play the game or else just being rocks that wait for hands. Is there a point in poker that you know that 'makes things get hard'

no, its just one big continuum. General rule is that the higher the level, the less donks. But in events that attract a lot of satellity qualifiers you can still find plenty of donks.

My advice would be when someone seems to suck out on you regularly - check them on sharkscope. If they're a winning player, then look to learn from them - either they're playing better than you, or they're picking up on some leak in your game.

Also play a mix of game speeds (turbos are great for making push-fold decisions etc), while slower MTTs are good for working on player-based 'moves' and 'poker' skill.

Doc before i read on thats the most beautiful thing i thing that anyone has ever said to me. Thats better than being toild someone loves me. Loves to be with me, loves the look of me just plain love. shit i cant read on or i'll be disaapointed.

what could be my best strategy there doc? where will i find these events? Poker stars and the like? Dont get me wrong Doc i do want to be a tournie player and i want to be seen on the european poker tour. and if you ca see a good way for folks to play against the queens of the poker wold then i would love to get involved in that circuit. I suppose i do want fame and fortune too but we'll take it one step at a time 2010 is when i realy hit out on live poker Doc. I'll be 40 and i'l have played for a few years and yes me not having a girlfriend or wife helps as it lets me get more hands in. all i know is that i got the time to learn this suburban game My 7 card stud and omaha tips will follow and life just moves on and on. anyhow (and i might move this to tournament forum) so has anyone got anything to say about them moving throught the low limits of poker? The same fools playing $20 sttt's as $50 as $5? thats how it could sound to me so far. I suppose its just 'all in the game' the only way to do it is to play you need to iron out your mistakes though or you just keep doing them i make the same mistakes many times a sessionm. Do i find th answer to them? do i fcuk. maybe we do need a quick poser hand button. its more than that with me though
