FOLD CALL OR RAISE?

Chris and Muse aint allowed allowed to answer as they have inside info on this hand already!

It would be interesting if you posted your thoughts on what mag has (and if you would fold call or raise depending on your read.....)

Re: FOLD CALL OR RAISE?

Complete stab - pair of 4's one of which was a diamond??

And (bearing in mind I'm shite at cash games) I'll say I'd have presumed the person had a low pair that hit so I fold...????

(You can all laugh now... )

Re: FOLD CALL OR RAISE?

tricky one ...... i think it may be something that may have pissed you off (if you folded) so my shot in the dark is ..... a pair of pocket jacks ?????

jezza was he the sort to call your raise with a2 , a3 suited or a small pair ????

Re: FOLD CALL OR RAISE?

If we assume that cos he has three times the buy-in hes a half decent player then hes looking at the way you have played it then hes got to put you on AA, KK or QQ, although it would be possible you have AK.

My first thought was a pocket pair maybe 88, 99 or 1010 but its hard to have a clue what he has without any information on him. I am prolly folding here, theres just too many hands that beat me.

Re: FOLD CALL OR RAISE?

ahh fcuk it... the more i think about the more i came to one conclusion... I SUCK at poker...
Started thinking 66-AA then 99-AA then TT-KK
So thats where im ending... Dont believe he has the flush..
Dont believe he has the straight..

He could have a set or Quads.. If he is a loose player, he could call a standard raise with that hand, and then hope to hit...
If he hit big. Just check on flop, and you raise like he did...
Maybe went for a check raise on turn as well.. But failed...

And then Just under pot size bet on river....

Its not AT

Im down toTT-KK or 22 or 44

He can not believe you on flush or straight draw.. So if he has BIG HAND, then no need to bet that much... So its either a complete bluff or he has JJ,QQ or KK

Thats end up in 50-50 if we remove the split.. So i vote flat call...

Im problably wrong couse im on my way out now.. City having BIG PARTY next week.. And im planning on having a few pints.

And meeting up with a sister to one of my friends.. But she dont think my friend should know we talk together, or going out tonight.. So hoping for some fun later on..

Hmm I think a small pair is a definate possibility preflop. A2s or A3s is less so but not impossible. I was playing pretty tight and raised big UTG+1. He knows I have at minimum AQs here probably so he is not going to get too out of line. His implied odds dwindled as noone called the raise before him. I think if 4 players had called it before him then A2s would be far more likely than it is now. Hes pretty decent and tight himself Bazz, I reckon a 2 is improbable but not impossible for him preflop.
