Anyone play this at all? I know it's all limit, and therefore gay, but I fucking love it.
For those of you who don't know it's a game that rotates between Hold'Em (H), Omaha H/L (0), Razz (R), Stud Hi (S) and Stud Hi/Lo (E) - the E by the way comes from it also being called Eight or better.
Anyway, you get some
absolute muppets playing these tournaments (it's also played as a cash game but the tourney's are where it's at). The main problem is that only very good players can master all 5 games, yet these muppets think they are great at all variants, which makes it easy for the other players.
I'm not saying I've mastered all 5 games - but I have worked out my limitations. I like to think I'm well above average playing Omaha H/L and Razz, I can get by in the Stud Hi/Lo round, FL Hold'em isn't a strength but again I can get by, and Stud Hi I just try to play as few hands as possible, because I'm crap at it.
For some reason I keep my concentration much better when playing HORSE than NLHE, probably because I know I'll get crushed otherwise.
Anyway, playing a $5 tourney right now, I'll report back when I crash out later.
