I did think it was a bit strange Dany and wondered what you knew that no one else did. I thought you'd been inspired by their 3-4 win at Arbroath. I think we'd be creating problems though if we let it stand. Imagine Forfar had won and someone not quite as honest as yourself insisting they didn't want East Fife at all and that it was obvious they meant Forfar due to the odds of 9/2 quoted and how could we possibly think they meant East Fife at those odds etc etc

And adding the odds absolutely is obligatory, Dany. The omission of odds is meant to result in the bet being voided (so far I've been very nice to folk who omit the odds). If we're adding the bets after kickoff (and 99% of the time we are) then the only place I can view the paddy power odds is in your post.

anyway, I still believe that more important is that I said "2", not the odds, as always when u bet, but if this is how u consider, no problem for me

It's not really left up to me to decide, Dany. I try to keep to the rules as much as possible but even though pretty much everyone was on East Fife to win I obviously can't know whether or not you personally fancy an upset. It's not for me to decide which is why folk should really double check their bets before posting. I'm genuinely sorry.

But the thing is Dany, if East Fife were so obviously favourites, then did you not think there was something strange when you typed the odds 9/2? The obligation should be on you to spot the mistake when you type it, Mickey/Eeyore can't go checking every bet every weekend just in case someone has made a mistake. Personally I'd be inclined to say it should be allowed to stand as a double, as there was nothing "illegal" (for want of a better word) about the other 2 selections. Mickey/Eeyore, it'd probably be a good idea to add something to the rules along the lines that if there's an inconsistency between the 1X2 selection and the odds, that selection will be voided, and the bet reduced to whatever other games were included (so if the bet was a double, it reduces to a single, and if it was a single, then it'll just be voided but won't count as a no-bet for the purposes of relegation).

And it's just as well you know your Scottish football anyway. If I'd been doing the tables, knowing nothing about Scottish football, I'd have settled it as a winner without even thinking, as the price wouldn't have looked strange to me at all

I've got to agree and make the bet a double because there was/is confusion with 1 part of the treble. Void the confusion selection and make it a double.

OK, I admit the mistake, but I want to tell you why it didn't look strange to me the 9/2 odds: because I only use decimal odds and I'm not used to the fractional ones. When I decide what to bet on I study the decimal odds from the meridianbet or astra betting which I play in my country, and then copy the fractional odds from paddy power. Not beind used to this kind of fractional odds, I'm not so carefull about what I copy, and for me important remains the bet "2". But, as I already said, it's not a problem if it won't be taken in consideration.

You can actually change the odds on the Paddy Power site to decimal odds if you wish Dany! Halfway down the page on the left hand side is the option to change between fractional and decimal. This should save any confusion in future!

Thanks anyway! I didn't look for it because it didn'n interested me so much, but it's ok. I think it's too much talk for this subject, so I'll wait for the decision and it won't be any problem, no matter the final solution.
