Recent games have seen goalfests involving these 2 teams , with Lillestrom averaging 3 goals in home games and Valerenga avergaing 3 in away games . Last week saw Vlerenga win 6-1 at home and Lillestrom draw 3-3 away , theier 3rd 3-3 of the season !

For me this game smacks of goals and were sure to get at least 1 !!

Ive taken the no next goal method this time as its the same as laying 0-0 only its settled as soon as the goal goes in , as im planning on betting a game later tonight .

Good luck mate.

Never thought of doing that before as there used to be nothing worse for me than when the bet had been won waiting ages for it to be paid.

Goind well. Hope it continues.

Forgot about this thread, but just had a wee browse again, and it's going well!

Love this style of bet (but already blown the 1+ goal twice myself already!).

May have a pop myself at this short odd betting soon, keep a lookout for the thread

Re: The longest consecutive winners thread !!

Peterborough - Everton

Basically this competition is ripe for upsets year in year out and when sky chose this game to broadcast they had obviously looked at Evertons recent record of going out to lower tier clubs and thought this may be a possible upset . Since then however Peterboros form has plummeted , losing 3 of their last 4, conceding on average 3 a game this season , and though a 2-1 win at leaders Swindon at the weekend will have restored some confidence ,Swindon are still a very average at best division 2 outfit ,Everton will be a completely different kettle of fish altogether !

Everton are unbeaten this season ,performing impresively in every game so far and sitting in 4th place in the premiership ,which is around 6 or 7 classes above the league 2 fodder in which Peterboro ply their trade .
The hope for sky and indeed Peterboro was that David Moyes may well rest his 1st team and play reserves , but this has turned out to not be the case . Speaking on sky earlier today, Moyes assistant Alan Irvine stated this >

"If you don't prepare properly then there is a greater chance of failing. We have had Peterborough watched probably more than any other team we have played this season.

"There will be some changes without a doubt. There are a few bumps and bruises from the weekend and we need to find out exactly who is available but I don't expect there to be massive changes of the squad we can select from.

Whichever players come in will be Premiership players, senior players. They will not be a second string, they will be players who are very much in our first-team squad.

The Carling Cup is something maybe some teams don't treat with the right respect at the beginning of the competition. But rest assured by the time you reach the quarter-finals everybody wants to play in it and everybody wants to win."We hope we are going to get to those rounds and we are taking this competition very seriously."

The full 1st team has travelled today to Peterboro , and if Everton play remotely anything like they have been recently they`ll walk all over a very poor Peterboro outfit . To put the gulf into context , Peterboro sneaked through the last round against Ipswich ,a team who arent a patch what they used to be , thanks to a heroic goalkeeping performance by keep Mark Tyler ,making save after save . With Beattie looking set to start along with young Anichebe in a 4-4-2 ,i cant see richard Wright being troubled too much in the Everton goal , and if they dont break through b4 halftime expect to see Andy Johnson and tim Cahill thrown into the mix in the 2nd period .

For me ,theres no possible way for Peterboro to win this game ,and to get to extra time they will need 3 everton dismissals and another inspired goalkeeping performance from posh cat Tyler !

20) Peterborough - Everton laid Peterborough @ 8.4 b4 kick off

Re: The longest consecutive winners thread !!

Nancy - Nice 3:00 kick off french cup

This french cup game as all the hallmarks of a tight low scoring affair with the current form of both teams . Nancy sit a high 3rd in the table , playing 4 home games winning 3 drawing 1 ,but scoring just 5 goals and conceding 1 , their only game to go over 2.5 goals were a 2-2 away draw with 10 man Toulose and a 3-1 home demolition of 9 man Sedan , the other games have all been 1-0 scorelines and last time out a 0-0 at home to 10 man Rennes . They struggle to break teams down who come to defend ,and when they get ahead they sit on it .

Nice are bottom , and are sure to come here to nick a 1-0 ,or maybe even play for extra time and pens . So far they have lost all 4 away league games , a freaky 3-2 loss at Bordeaux where 3 of the goals were penalties ! And a 4-1 loss at home to Lyon, were for some reason they presumed the best form of defence was to attack ,and they wont be doing that today . Though they have lost all 4 away games ,they have only conceded 7 away goals ,and 3 of those came at Bordeaux ,2 of those were Darcheville penalties .

I can see this game starting scrappily ,and Nice trying to hang on for as long as possible , if Nice nick the opening goal then theyll just sit further back trying to hang on , if Nancy get the opener dont ecpoect much to change , theyll be happy to take a 1-0 and keep fitness for the weekend ,and Nice wont push men up till late on as 1-0 is always a target not to far out of reach for any team .

21) Nice-Nancy laid 5+ goals @12.86 b4 kickoff

Dunfermline -Rangers 745

Dunfermline arent as bad as last seasons feeble outfit and have started playing a more defensive formation in order to stop the flow of goals against them . This has worked in all but 1 of this years games ,a 3-2 defeat of Kilmarnock ,bar that game theyve been very solid , recently playing the top 4 sides bar Hibs ,and have recorded respectable scorelines of Celtic 0-1 , Aberdeen 0-1 , Hearts 0-1 and todays opponents Rangers 1-1 . Its not been good for the fans to watch as they hardly ,if ever ,get out their own box and recently at celtic park just sat there to avoid a pasting going down 1-0 . If as expected they play the same way tonight ,as they did when holding Rangers to a 1-1 here just a few weeks ago ,then the gers will struggle to break through , especially given their latest exploits infront of goal .

Despite having Kris Boyd , this sections best striker by some way , they still flatter to decieve ,and the gers problems have been not finding the onion bag with enough regularity . That in itself should ensure that if the gers get ahead tonight they remain focused at the back . It wont be a full strength gers outfit who take to the park though ,as Le Guen has promised to rest men for saturdays old firm midday clash , and if they should get ahead, maybe even go 2-0 up ,then the foot will be firmly taken off the gas .

For my money , Dunfermline will feel they have sniff here of causing an upset ,and they may well force the better team into extra time then who knows , but for me i see a low scoring affair ,possibly under 2.5 goals , but as usual for this challenge i`ll take the safer option . As i feel its tremendous value to lay at 13 when i really would have it around 40 !!

22) Dunfermline -Rangers lay 6+ goals @ 13 b4 kick off
