Ok, so I'm thinking of taking the plunge (like I said I wouldn't yesterday). Won't start tonight, as I'm feeling shit (been off work all day) and I don't want to depress myself too much by spanking a load of money on a 1/12 shot. Probably start off with £50 or something.

Anyway, any tips to share on how to go about this? Matches to avoid? Apart from the obvious.

Wigan get their 1st 0-0 in the Premiership quite recently, after 49 games without one, so a team to back, as they clearly don't believe in the cautious approach. May be reflected in the odds though.

Didn't realise that it was only 1% commission, so actually have a whopping £53.96. Going to use some other markets, not just 1 goal+, as there's plenty of opportunities out there.

I've gone for an early bigger priced, riskier one for my 2nd bet.

Bet 1 - 1 goal or more Qatar v Iran @ 1.08 £50
Bet 2 - Ken Doherty to beat Joe Perry (in-running) @ 1.46 £53.96

Good luck with this mate. Best tip i could give is keep your discipline and dont go all willy nilly like i do as it will fuck you over soon enough like its done many a time to many.

Teams to avoid for me this season so far...

Watford
French Football
Atletico Madrid
