A few thougths from Ian Millward

Catalans Dragons v Salford (+10)

Everyone is waiting for Salford to get better but it isn't happening. The problem is their defence, which in previous seasons has been their strength, and that is a worry. They are at sixes and sevens and very low on confidence. I have to go for the French team to cover all areas here. They are always hard to beat at home and Salford are not travelling in top form or full of confidence.

Hull (+6) v Leeds

This is a tough one as Hull are hard to beat at home and will be tough defensively. But with the loss of Paul Cooke they are left to scour the world for a half-back and Richard Horne isn't as confident without his old partner alongside him. Leeds will be smarting from their Challenge Cup exit at the hands of Wigan last week. However they tend to hit back after a setback such as that and I think that can happen again on Sunday. Leeds to win and cover is my call. They have the better attacking players in Danny McGuire, Brent Webb and others. They can score points. Hull don't have enough of that at present.
