and i've been asked this before , there is a youtube version with phoenetic subtitles for you to practice here:
YouTube - The World Cup is coming, learn the Welsh National Anthem

wikipedia have a page with the Welsh lyrics , a translation and a paraody which I found amusing
Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

What really bugs me is that the majority of the Welsh football team don't attempt to sing "their" national anthem , but it is the opposite for the rugby team .

Just to confirm what you posted onedunme ,my money is on France to win this world cup , home advantage is a massive help.

Re: Rugby World Cup 2007

as an accy thats a bit dodgy IMO especialy the french section. Whilst the French are a strong team they have a very tough group with Argentina and Ireland in Group D. Having said that my first bet on the tournament is france -11 against Argentina at 10/11 i know Argentina have won 4 of the last 5 against France but Argentina were particulary poor against Wales in the first half and they could get blown away.

where did you get the -10 deck ?

I fancy France to come out of the blocks as well and to beat the (-12) handicap but the (-10) is a temptner just as well

Re: Rugby Union World Cup - France 2007

So we heard Keggers as the misses told us, don't know if you watched the game but it was a pretty placid affair and the argies were worth the points come the end of the match, exactly how good is hard to judge but it was hell of a victory considering it was a fullhouse on the host's own soil.

On that form a semi final place is not out of the question now they should top the group allthough Ireland may have a final say in the matter.

It was a good start to the comp none the less abeit it being a bit of a tame affair considering the French were involved, lets hope its a springboard for things to come.

Argentina , France and Ireland will be going all out to score as many points against the minnows as this group may go to points difference

Re: Rugby Union World Cup - France 2007

Can't see where Italy points are going to come from v NZ. Italy are putting out a stronger side than I expected, but it should still be one way traffic.

It's 15pts a try, 5pts for any successful kick, but -5 for a missed penalty, drop goal. -5 yellow; -15 red.

SELL Italy performance @ 20 at 2pts

Am a big Italy fan and expect to see them in quarters (ie beat Scotland) but surely this is just injury avoidance time for a talent shallow squad.

Re: Rugby Union World Cup - France 2007

The spread firms have Aus 78-81 favs over Japan but on betfair aus -76.5 points is 2.38 so one is wrong. Which one though I don't know.

I'll try a small sell of Aus at 78 on IGsport.
