The recent meeting between these two sides in the EDF cup saw the Ospreys hammer the London side. However, that game was played in Cardiff and this time the Welsh team must travel to Watford to face a Saracens team whose pride is definitely wounded. Overall there is little doubt that the Welsh team have more quality in their ranks, but Saracens recently are a side more comfortable with the 'team' aspect than the individual. That isn't to say that they lack any quality, but they will rely more on spirit, organisation and doggedness to get results. With home advantage and a meaner looking front five, I think Sarries may surprise a few people (although The Machine has Sarries as 2 point favourites). Coach Alan Gaffney is very good at the people side of things and will have his charges fully motivated to make up for their poor show last time. Take the hosts +5 @ 2.0 with Boylesports.

not me , i was expecting wins for both welsh sides , but was too late to get on the ospreys -3 with paddies , so many errors especially from Holah ,Parker and Vaughton.

I think he might be refering to posting on that other forum that he advertises on here. Bit like being told by the Racing Post about a tip in another paper(which you dont buy) the day after it happened.

I for one was stunned by Sarries victory but as a Munster fan am much happier to be playing them in the semis.

It wasn't here (which is why I put in quotes and said you just needed to know where to look, with a wink) - but it was posted on the web before the match. I can't post on here during the day and I didn't get time to post it here before the game between the time I posted the above (Friday morning) and the game itself.

I only replied as I did because the Sarries result was generally perceived as a shock and you asked if anyone saw it coming.

Traeth - surprised you fancied Cardiff mate - I was surprised they got as close as they did.
