..Then I saw the highlights of Calvisano - v Stade and they (Calvisano)looked fucking woeful. 43 is a hug ask. I reckon Calvisano will score about 15 points max, so will sale score 60ish?

I would Gladly take Gloucester -3 to take care of Agen.
I had Northampton as 15 point faves in the Borders game & Scarlets 6 point faves in the Ulster game.

Should be a few handicaps posted by the bookies on Wednesday night

handicaps for tomorrow's matches from betfred

27 Oct 19:30 Castres vs Treviso 1.91 -19 17.00 -19 1.91 +19

27 Oct 19:30 Llanelli Scarlets vs Ulster 1.91 -4 17.00 -4 1.91 +4

27 Oct 19:45 Sale vs Calvisano 1.91 -31 17.00 -31 1.91 +31

I will be watching that Llanelli match on the t.v. tomorrow , but will need some persuation to risk money on that match.

Sale were beaten by a last minute try by the Ospreys last week , but -31 is a very daunting handicap - weather may be a big factor. You estimation of Sales superiority must make it a bet for yourself , any comment.
Sale were impressive in the line out considering the terrible conditions last week, lets hope they will not ease off after getting ahead.

Llanelli -4.5pts @2.08 with betfair .

This is my bet for tonight's match.
I've decided that home advantage in dry conditions [ at the moment ] will benefit Llanelli .It will be a sellout crowd tonight who will be like an extra man. They key area for me tonight is the battle between Peel and Boss. Elsewhere it is difficult to separate the two teams in the other positions. I'm hoping that if Peel lasts the 80 minutes Llanelli with dominate.
According to ERC site tonight ref is Tony Spreadbury , an Englishman and a fair referee.
I will be prepared to bet in-running tonight .

Re: Rugby Union Heineken Cup 27th Oct - 29th Oct

Llanelli should have won that match by a bigger margin.
Ulster will be a different proposition at home though.

I do not fancy much today

Parma +30.5 Biarritz - Can see Biarritz winning easily but will they ease off after getting the bonus point and not overcome the hanicap
Stade Francais -14.5 Ospreys - Stade a good side at home , Ospreys lucky to win last week. The danger here is Ospreys ability to score a try from anywhere and fuck up a handicap bet.
Gloucester -17.5 Agen - The French do not travel well and were not too impressive last week
Northampton -14.5 Borders - Northampton do have injuries but should be good enough to win but a 15 point margin could be beyond them
Perpignan -5.5 Wasps -Perpignan good home side should overcome the handicap
Munster -25.5 Bourgoin -Munster should do the business here ,Bourgoin are not good travellers

The only match at the moment that would get any of my money is Perpignan -5.5. Better betting propositions tomorrow though.

Any opinions ? PTDSEI , DAC [got over that narrow defeat last night ?] or anyone

Re: Rugby Union Heineken Cup 27th Oct - 29th Oct

Sunday's matches - going to be difficult picking the winners here , but going to have a go

These prices from bluesq , check oddschecker for best price and best handicap , which can vary by 2 to 3 pts

Edinburgh +3 evens Tie 16/1 Leinster -3 4/5
Edinburgh have been playing well at home in The Magners this season.
Leinster have had their internationals missing for their opening matches , but I think that the world class players they have in backs will cause trouble for Edinburgh.I'm a great believer in home advantage in rugby but I can see Leinster winning this one by double figures , but playing safe and taking the smallest handicap with bluesq.

Cardiff +2 10/11 Tie 16/1 Leicester -2 10/11
Cardiff played well last weekend , whilst Leicester lost in the 2nd half rain against Munster. I was impressed by Cardiff but Leicester looked dangerous throughout last weeks match and with a little bit of luck /run of the ball could have won. A saying in sport I hate is " must win game " , and it is been widely used in this match for Leicester, [ how many games do you want to lose ? ],it is true for Leicester that if they lose today the Heineken cup is over for them.I'm going against my fellow countrymen today and will be betting on Leicester to win @1.91 with skybet

Toulouse -17 10/11 Tie 16/1 London Irish +17 10/11

Re: Rugby Union Heineken Cup 27th Oct - 29th Oct

Results Sunday, 29 October 2006

Cardiff Blues 17 - 21 Leicester
Edinburgh 25 - 24 Leinster
Toulouse 37 - 17 London Irish

Not a bad weekend with 3 out of 4 bets up , but it was Leinster that I was most confident with , shows how close it is in the Heineken
