Rugby League New Zealand v Great Britain 10th Nov

This has the makings of a great match and one i'll definately be getting up early on Saturday morning to watch, GB are playing well but got beat in the first game against the All blacks only for the result to be nulled as they fielded an illegible player.
Must win game for NZ and the handicap is a lot less than it was for the first game.

New Zealand -4.0 1.90
Hcap Tie - Great Britain +4.0 17.00
Great Britain +4.0 1.90

Match Result

New Zealand 1.57
Tie 19.00
Great Britain 2.37

Odds bet365

Re: Rugby League New Zealand v Great Britain 10th Nov

Interesting article from Ian Millward......Not sure i agree with him mind.

The handicap is getting a bit closer now between New Zealand and Great Britain with the latter getting six points with some firms.

The last time they met it was around 12-14 points and that is down to Great Britain's outstanding showing against Australia last week.

I thought they were the best team, their defence was superb and they got stronger in the second half on the back of an excellent Sean Long performance.

That was the best kicking game Long has ever produced at international level and he orchestrated the win with the way he got around the park in attack.

This is an interesting game for Great Britain.

As they arrived at the tournament after two games, they don't get a break and have to play week-in and week-out so it is very hard to maintain your form.

The New Zealanders had a week off and talking to some of their players, they had chance to get down to Queenstown to relax and do a bit of team bonding.

I think that the week off just reduces the intensity so you can rise again for the following match - that will have a big effect on Great Britain over the next couple of weeks.

I think New Zealand will win this game due to the fact that it is must-win for them and they have home-ground advantage.

That is always going to be worth some points at international level.

Great Britain have had to travel out to a new hotel and will be experiencing some wear and tear still so back New Zealand to cover a start of four points.

It is going to be so difficult for Great Britain to back up last week's effort and there seems to be so much in favour of the Kiwis.

In terms of the first tryscorer betting, Leon Pryce and Kirk Yeamans have always had the ability to come up with early points but I think this is a game that New Zealand could dominant.

So I would be more inclined to look to players from their side and the person we are always talking about and how much he has improved is Shontayne Hape. He does find his way to the tryline.

I don't know Wins , i think the Aussie game may have taken a lot out of the GB side and the replacements who fitted in that day played a blinder and i doubt they will get the same chance again.
Sean Long played the best international football i've ever seen him play , could have been that knock to the head i suppose and i'll be very surprised to see him play that well again now fileding is back in and his club sidekick is back on the bench.
Still i hope we do it but i have a sneaky feeling NZ will roll us over by at least 10 points +

Re: Rugby League New Zealand v Great Britain 10th Nov

Great Britain have been forced to make two changes to the side for Saturday's Tri-Nations game against New Zealand.

Brian Carney has lost his battle to overcome a hamstring injury and Sean O'Loughlin is out with what is believed to be a leg muscle strain.

Still has the makings of a great game allthough Carney will be a big miss, still NZ have made 6 changes after 2 defeats on the bounce, allthough the GB game cannot be classified as a defeat but shows they will be wanting to win this one.

This game is up in the air and i expect New Zealand to come through but it won't be a game for the squeamish and if anybody loves sport then i recommend they watch this match as it will be a game where players will stand up and be counted and men are men.
No time for diving and cheating as its not tolerated but you can guarantee @ th end of the game all will have given 110% and the winer will have truely deserved it... i feel a drum roll comming on
