Ive been waiting to get the odds and my bet on etc b4 i posted this , but ive just got on so here goes , fill your boots !!
I work with a player whos very close to both clubs,especially Blackpool , and in converstaion early this week he remarked how poor they were vs barrow last weekend in losing 40-4 at home , also how weak the team were this year despite supposedly improving with a few signings pre-season . He says the players practically gave up once they got a few tries behind and were totally outclassed which doesnt augur well for the current campaign .
He stated how the majority of the clubs players have got this current flu bug thats going around ,and that the weekend game vs whitehaven will see them take a right hammering , even if they were full strength which they arent. He says whitehaven are the 3rd favs for the comp and will go very close to winning the whole thing , while Blakpool are 1000/1 outsiders - the group betting sees Whitehaven 1/100 and Blackpool not even quoted .
And if that wasnt good enough , today he said that the majority of the 1st team wont even be going to the game as they are being rested for the next league game , the coach knows they`re gona take a pasting ,so hes prioritising and giving the kids a run out with no more than 3 or 4 senior players being involved .
This info is 100% genuine , and though im no big hitter ive managed to snaffle some 5/6 with
sky bet giving just 30 , and taken £130 on here giving 32.5 - he assures me that a fair handicap for a game like this should be much nearer the 65 mark , as hes convinced Whitehaven wont go at all easy once ahead due to the lancashire/yorkshire rivalry , and they wont let slip the opportunity to give probably the weakest team theyll play all season a good hammering
