American Idol - Season 7

Lets face facts - Brooke is the weakest female singer left in the remaining girls.. However she is by far the most likeable. Syesha just isnt drumming up the support and Carly isnt likeable full stop.. This must be the weakest last 3 females ever.

The annoying thing is that Brooke just doesnt seem to appear to want to win. Has she had a message from God? She seems to have thrown in the towel and this is reflected in her past few performances. Ok she has limited singing capability, but if she could pull off a performance like earlier in the comp, there isnt any reason why she still can't be top female against the 2 left. America seems to like this girl, and if she can go back to the Carly Simon style singing, hopefully gather up some of the Kristy fanbase, and show a bit more of a fight I'm sure we'll be celebrating a top female victory (Well I can but hope !)

The eliminations are so wild now, I doubt I'll be dipping my toes in again, and instead cheer on Brooke as top female and David Cook to a famous victory (and potentially my biggest ever payout..)

Well another tricky one to guage - what with it being Andrew Lloyd Webber week...

If I was to consider this carefully I can see Syesha pulling off a pretty decent ballad along the lines of some Evita song.. Hopefully Brooke can pull herself out of the mire this week with an improved performance. Carly certainly could be the one in danger this week. I can see another all girl bottom 3 this week and fingers crossed it's Carly

As for the outright, David A is still steady at odds on. However David C is now 11/8 in some places - the smallest odds he has ever been. Let's just hope momentum continues to carry him forward. I am awaiting (and hoping) that David A can at some point drift to evens so I can edge some of the potential David C profits onto him, as, surely there cannot be a winner outside of these 2??

Very difficult to split, but Syesha just shades it..Ironically she is the favourite to be eliminated with Bet365..

Methinks it will be a defining moment tonight for Brooke backers and for Brooke herself..If its yet another lacklustre performance by her, we can all kiss 'Top Female' bets goodbye....

Yep - Brooke fucks up again Can't see me being able to lay her off either..

I can't see it being anything other than between Syesha and Carly for Top Female..

Brooke White supporters can breathe a sigh of relief if only for one week only as we got the dream scenario of Carly or Syesha going as they were the ones in the bottom two. RTM did warn about the possible side-effect of going first and I suppose Syesha suffered because of that.

Carly however is the one that went. If I was a Carly Smithson supporter I'd be right royally pissed off but I ain't so I'm not.

Brooke White probably got some sort of sympathy vote but she'll be out before Syesha at this rate...or maybe not!

Superficially I'd make Jason the favourite to be eliminated to leave the Davids and the two girls left so we have a handy gender balance and a Brooke vs. Syesha showdown next week but it's never that easy.

Brooke White supporters will be having a torrid couple of days at least.

An argument could be made for either Archuleta or Cook as to who has the momentum but at these odds I'm not playing.

Does not look good for Brooke on Dial Idol. Is bottom ranked there and Syesha is top marked. Only Jason can save her I feel

I must admit I was fearing the worst for Brooke after reading the forums this morning, and this was without knowing about the normally very reliable dial-idol info...

I think her limitations has hit home to the most stalwart Brooke fan (I realised it about 3 weeks ago to be fair), and a sweet smile and innocent attitude surely won't carry her for much longer..
