Big Brother VI
Big Brother VI starts tonight.
A decent betting proposition over the years I have found. I'll post up my thoughts on the contestants (when they are revealed) later. .GIF)

Re: Big Brother VI
13 prepare to enter 'evil' BB house
Source: ITN
Quote:
This year's 13 Big Brother housemates are getting ready for life under the gaze of the cameras as the sixth series gets under way later.
More details about the contestants joining the 11-week show, extended from the usual ten weeks, have been revealed.
Eleven of the housemates, set to have their lives turned upside down in the claustrophobic camera-filled house in Elstree, Herts are single.
Two of the contestants are gay, two bisexual and three were born outside the UK.
One had a "high profile occupation", another was in a parachute regiment, and one of the 13 used to be a professional windsurfer and basketball player.
Big Brother bosses have promised that one of the housemates, who they have chosen as the 13th, will be the unluckiest ever.
The house is even more cramped than last year's with the inmates having nowhere to hide from each other.
A transparent wall separates the bedroom from the dining area and blinds can only be pulled down at Big Brother's discretion.
Heat-seeking cameras are poised to record every fumble under the
bedclothes.
A naughty red step has been created for disobedient housemates in the garden.
The garden will also be scattered with gnomes, and unbeknown to the housemates, one of the gnomes will contain a hidden camera for Dermot O'Leary's Big Brother's Little Brother.
The living room, complete with shagpile carpet, is enclosed within a glass box, and can only be reached by crossing the garden.
The only showers are outside in the garden area, meaning the contestants will have no privacy and will be totally exposed to the elements.
There are 11 beds - two double - in the bedroom, which has stark orange walls, polka-dot bed covers, mirrored walls, and a cream carpet.
A loft, which can be reached from a ladder in the garden, is the only space where the housemates can enjoy a small amount of privacy from each other.

Re: Big Brother VI
Im hate it with a passion Gett1n. Imo it is the reason why tv is so bad these days and because of it it has directly meant that i havent watched telly in over 2 years. I can understand that if your with a woman then its worth gettin into as you are gonna have it forced upon you for the next 11 weeks so youd be as well getting some bets going to make it semi interesting.
Good luck BB thread .GIF)

Re: Big Brother VI
Becoming a bit of a minefield on the punting front. Channel 4 have developed a habit of moving the goalposts especially when their producers cock up
One minute we are having bedsit evictions and then we don't.
They've promised more dirty tricks again this year. I'll give it a miss unless I see any last minute value but thats unlikely as the inside money will have already spoken

Re: Big Brother VI
Aye WAS is so right Gett1n. I think you should just close this thread for the benefit of your wealth and anyone considering a bet on it should just say no and tell the girlfriend/wife that whilst its on you'll be spending the time looking at Aussie footie or something.
you know it makes sense

Re: Big Brother VI
Im not a great fan of the show and agree with Komp. This is the reason there are so many of this reality tv crap! Only reason i have some time for it is because its on and keeps me occupied when im working nightshift. Its either that or watch the ceefax pages on the BBC channels

Re: Big Brother VI
made a few quid on the celebrity one. its best if you can watch it 24/7 and bet as something happens. wouldnt go anywhere near it for the first week ago or so until the dust has settled. will assess the contenders and draw up my own list tonight...

Re: Big Brother VI
Oh dear oh dear oh dear...what a shower :down
Hopefully the next chap is a big bastard who'll knock some sense into those cnuts :down
All that usually holds my attention is the more subtle psychology/body language, but the conflict seems so pre-planned this year any subtlety has gone right out the window :down
From a betting perspective, I think you might be right AFU in that we've probably yet to see the winner :down (Hopefully anyway)
