Re: X Factor

I'm off out now, seen mac donalds, they should go on that. Simon ain't keeping them in, but i'm going to lay off at 2. seen enough, got the 0.9 spread on them, so got the 15 pts going for nothing. ashley is safe with that, but hopefully mac d's will go to get some cash back for me.

Re: X Factor

Yeah a bit nondescript. The type of votes she is after will easily be taken by others.

Re: X Factor

Hideous! Its one of those thats not far off being decent, but is just plain rubbish!

Scrambled to get money on in the rush...a few pennies at 6.20 and more at 4s and 5s.

Re: X Factor

I'm in heavy on 4sure - that was rubbish and if they aren't in the bottom 2 with that I'll be utterly gobsmacked.

Re: X Factor

Good call Beanie

In-running betting certainly can reap rewards with these types of programmes..

Re: X Factor

YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! My Betfair balance is looking awfully healthy this morning Some kind sod even came along and put up some 10s on 4 sure at one point last night! I was really surprised at the price sticking - like we noted trick the McDonalds were always likely to be safe after Simons comments, Dionne was ok, and no one else was particularly bad.

I was drunk by vote off show time - I remember stumbling through to see Robert v 4sure, and knowing there was no need to run through and lay off as Simon quite likes Robert. The right mob went IMO as they were hideous and looked as if they were trying to squeeze one out.

Ben has shortened on the outrights as have Eton Road - if you fancy a Leonna bet then now is probably the time.

Re: X Factor

Ashleys version of the Chicken Shack number was excellent.

An inspired selection by Simon Cowell

If he gets a few more songs like that he could win it.

Roll on Saturday.

Re: X Factor

Yesterday's Bettingzone Market Moves:

1400: William Hill have seen a run of cash for Dionne to be the next contestant voted off the X Factor and she is now the 2/1 favourite to go on Saturday.

The MacDonald Brothers, last week's favourites, are 9/4 second favourites for the chop.

"Louis is down to two acts and although the MacDonald brothers are the weakest act, punters are confident that the other judges will not get rid of another of his acts," said Hills spokesman Rupert Adams. "Sound thinking if you ask me!"

William Hill X Factor Eviction: 2/1 Dionne, 9/4 The MacDonald Brothers, 4/1 Robert, 7/1 Kerry, 8/1 Nikitta, 14/1 Ray, 16/1 Ashley, 25/1 Eton Road, 33/1 Leona, 50/1 Ben.

Re: X Factor

Yeah, there is surely no way the McDonalds will go and I'll lay that up to some big odds.

Robert, Ray, Nikkita and Dionne are the only viable evictees IMO.

Re: X Factor

Hmmm...could be a risky nights punting as its been noted that there will be a twist in the show tonight, but whether thats a double eviction or pure public vote or whatever is anyones guess. Think I'll still be laying the McDonalds and backing an outsider or two to go.

Re: X Factor

ok, i think that the mac d will be safe. The song they are singing is just too good to get evicted on, i can't not see people at home/in audience not singing along to it. They have to be safe, to lay it at 3, i think is the play to make. Apart from them, ben/eton/leonna/ashley have to be safe. Ray is in his specialist theme, so he again has to be safe. so the other play is for dionne, kerry, robert, nikkita. For me i think nikitta and kerry are in all sorts of trouble, the minority scotland vote must be going to mac donalds, nikitta is trying to dance this week-that will be awful. So tempted for a nibble on both nikitta and kerry at 8/9s each, or just a simple lay on mac d. Probably will lay mac d, simply cos could see robert lurking in the bottom 2, and then he must go. Can they have all 3 of louis's acts gone in first 3? So lay of mac d, 10pts at 3s.

Re: X Factor

And the funny business starts - its a double eviction tonight and the odds have just plunged all round - McDonalds into 2s.

I've started off with a lay of the McDonalds at just above evens and a back of Ray at over 20s(he's up first.)

Edit: Market just suspended...
