Don't speak too soon Dave, but yeah, ITV do seem to make an effort on the singing side.

Most likely reason for that is they appear to be looking for the jackpot - no doubt this series ties the winner into some sort of deal, and from there they hope they can make a superstar, and themselves a pretty penny. Not a single 'comedy' act in this year.

The gamble is all for Wolfenden Prices being snapped up on Betfair and with the bookies markets suspended they're all afraid to lay him...now all he has to do is put in a good performance and Bobs your father's brother.

Mincemeat was average, but can hold a note and thats probably all he needs to have a good chance here. Betfair punters have taken the 6s anyway.

Verity was horrific and in an even run race would be off tonight or tomorrow, but she'll be ok for a few nights I think.

Matched at 7.2 - worth a go I think. She's nowhere near the worst singer, is easily the best looking, but I'm still not sure who will vote for her. The women who make up the bulk of voters won't like her for being pretty, and the guys that do will rather have a quick ham shank.

On the singing side he did well enough. Won't have any support tho and voice isn't quite good enough to challenge.

Betfair loved it - into 4s and favouritism. Seriously doubt if a Hollyoaker could ever win this, let alone a black fella with their history in reality shows, so that price is a huge lay if it sticks there after the show and we have a genuine contender.
