Re: Soapstar Superstar

Oh God...Jane Danson is absolutely awful...nooooooo...she's gonna bugger up my elimianation punt. Bettingzone have fucked up their bets on this too and need Wolfie to save them.

Does have corrie factor and late singing order in her favour tho.

Re: Soapstar Superstar

MMmm...sang it strangely but he'll be safe enough for long enough to sort that out. There's potential there if he does some bigger, more shouty songs.

Re: Soapstar Superstar

I'll call that an average first night. Wolfie bet looks ok - someone just took 5.00 on Betfair :loon - not the best performance but he'll keep for another night. Might get a bit of Bryan Adams tomorrow night which will suit.

Lay of Leon at a great price, but the elimination bet looks goosed with Betfair deciding it to be Danson vs Lordan.

Re: Soapstar Superstar

Christ at this rate I'll be lucky not to have my entire betfair balance on this before the night is out.

Gemma Atkinson is NEVER a 6/1 shot to win this which is available on Betfair - she sang pretty dodgily, wont be liked by the female voters(which is 90% of the voters), and isn't known to most soap fans. Don't wanna keep punting but a price is a price. Even better...laid at 6.40.

Hmmm. Huge turnaround in the odds over at Bet Direct.

Absolute headache if you ask me.

Re: Soapstar Superstar

And thats just the singing stereo.

As for tonights eviction - Verity and Jane look well out of their depth on the show and will be in trouble again - Hayley was ok last night and is probably the value bet in terms of outright prices at the moment. The rest should be safe tonight, maybe with the exception of Gemma and Dr Karl. Eviction market not up yet though and I don't think I'll be around for it.

Will try to get Hayley at about 13s or 14s tho - perhaps the best voice of the ITV contingent so I dont understand the odds there.

Re: Soapstar Superstar

Wooo! Hayley into near enough favourite!

Matt or Leon goes tonight - so Matts odds have shot out as Betfair expects him to be the one to get the boot.

If Leon does survive his odds will come in again and yet again will be a lay.

Re: Soapstar Superstar

Here we go again...Leon is into 3.50 and lower...that looks a silly price here so I'm gonna spend another night laying to my hearts content

He has the best voice yes, but nothing else going for him reality tv wise. Unknown, not getting the young girls vote ahead of others, not on ITV, black, blah blah blah.

Looks like its Matthew going tho so will see what price he is after that.

Re: Soapstar Superstar

Another chunk laid at 2.70. After that performance I'm not even sure he's the best singer there - One of the lays of the betting year.

If any further evidence is needed of how the voting will go the piss poor Hannah Waterman(white, BBC1 actress) just beat the semi decent and betting favourite Mark Butcher(black, not known to most of the audience cricketer) in the final of just the two of us.

Re: Soapstar Superstar

Value now looks like Mark Furze to me...not known of course and not an ITV lad but has an ok voice and with Matthew Wolfenden gone the young female vote should start switching its attentions to him.

A wee nibble at 13s.

Re: Soapstar Superstar

And in he comes to 7s

Im a huge red on Leon, a medium red on Gemma, a huge green on Hayley and Mark, and medium green on the rest...its a fairly extreme position at the moment but I'll be trading out some of the risk later on. The odds just now still look way off though and while they do I'll keep backing that up with dosh.

Singers like Anthony, Alan only have outside claims - they'll go far due to big fan bases but given they don't really have anything else it'll just be a case of them filling to top 4, so I'll ultimately take a 0 position on them.

Leon's drifting and he'll continue to do so IMO...Hayley didn't manage to get favouritism tonight but its only a matter of time.

Great show
