Re: I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! (Series Five!)

Very tough indeed trying to pick anyone of these as they are so varied and i'm not surprised to see some good arbs to be had.

as its not a talent contest and folks view personalities in different ways its one of the hardest shows to judge on eviction, i was stung badly on more than one occasion last yr and i suppose arbing may be the way forward in this comp.

Re: I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! (Series Five!)

Skybet are scummers btw. All-in running or not apparently (didn't see that anywhere).

Bet Direct gave me my £20 back when Jackie 'Leatherface' Stallone went into the Big Brother house and I had bet on Lisa I'Anson to be first evicted back on Celebrity Big Brother 3 (if you forgot, Jackie was first evicted but wasn't one of the original contestants).

Jilly Goolden was second evicted. Oh the humanity....I have a habit of being a week/eviction ahead of myself with these fcuking things.

I can't wait for the time a huge bet of mine comes in over at Skybet (won't be any time soon I fear! ).

Who'll be third evicted? I don't know and I don't care.

David Dickinson's third evicted ahead of Sheree Murphy. What a lose-lose situation this series has been for me. :

....Carol Thatcher the red hot favourite to win? Oh now I really do give up.

Dear Old Carol was 6.50 when I wrote the above.

I might have guessed wrong at the outset but I am now clutching a voucher with 5.5 pts @ 6.50 written on it for CT to be the outright winner wandering whether to let it ride or lay her to guarantee a healthy overall profit.

My other as yet undecided choice is whether to lay Sheree to be in the last 3 market.

I think Carol and Sid are nailed on to be there on the final day and I have this feeling that Jimmy may oust Sheree to be there as well

Re: I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! (Series Five!)

I realise that I may be talking to myself on this one but that may not be so unusual.

However, there is a smidgeon of value to be found on tonights eviction vote.

Anthony has been surviving by his bootstraps in recent days and The ITV manipulation machine was working overtime last night to save him once again at the expense of poor Jenny who never got a look in.

Anthony is hot favourite to go tonight trading at around 1.40.

I am not so sure that it will be him though.

Bobby Ball could find himself in difficulties and at 3.25 he could be worth a few quid.

Why;

a). he came across as a bit of a chauvanistic, ill tempered arse because of his enforced cooking duties last night.

b) he has revealed to his camp mates and the rest of the world who may be eavesdropping that he was a serial adulterer throughout his life.

c) Mr Costas fans are the type who are more likely to give him multiple votes if ITV use their usual con trick of how close the voting is with the bottom two

d) not scientific but This Mornings Poll had them running at

5% Anthony

3% Bobby

I'm listening Was...

I like you're reasoning there too. Particularly c), and given the bullshit A + D spun last night: "at one point there was only one vote covering the bottom three" - (no shit Sherlock...I'm guessing that was right after voting started) there is little doubt they will do it again.

I've not really been watching, as the bunch this time just don't hold my attention for more than 2 minutes, but I'll follow you on that one tonight Was.

Took 3.15 on Betfair...

Anthony's price is creeping up slightly, from around 1.45 to about 1.55 now. Fingers crossed!

Re: I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! (Series Five!)

Unlucky on the Bobby Ball bet WAS as I thought he might go tonight too. I didn't have a bet on it but reading the odds retrospectively I would still have backed Ball as the value to go and lost my money.

I think this series is very tight. It's not often that out of the last 5 in a reality show that at least 4 could still win it. I would lay Bobby Ball at the exchanges - I hate saying "I would lay (enter mans name)".....

But Ball aside (lol - ooooeeer - here we go again) - but Ball aside (titter) I think any of the other four can still win.

In fact you know that aside from the fact that reality shows can be so unpredictable I think laying Bobby Ball is about the safest bet around. I know you would have to have a few grand to make it worthwhile but it really is free money.

I promise to post up pictures of my bare arse if he wins.

Seems I am agreed with on Betfair. Only £19 over the whole market wants to back Ball to win (and this is him + any other new contestant!)

sorry if this is slightly out of date-

Latest Prices

With Monday's final fast approaching Carol Thatcher has emerged as this year's favourite. However as we've seen in the past, anything can happen in these last few days. Here are all the latest prices:

Winner = 50 pts, 2nd = 30 pts, 3rd = 20 pts, 4th = 10 pts, 5th = 5 pts

Celebrity Bet Low Bet High

Carol Thatcher 33 36
Sid Owen 25 28
Jimmy Osmond 22 25
Sheree Murphy 15 18
Bobby Ball 6 8
Jenny Frost 3 5
Anthony Costa 1 3
Kimberley Davies 0 0.5
Jilly Goolden 0 0.5
David Dickinson 0 0.5
Tommy Cannon 0 0.5
Elaine Lordan 0 0.5

(All prices correct at time of writing)

So, if you think Bobby Ball will finish in 4th place or higher, simply 'bet high' on his current price. Similarly, if you think Jimmy Osmond will finish in 4th position or worse, 'bet low'.

...well Jimmy's gone meaning Sid's the 'King of the Jungle'. Wish I put my money on Sid in that market instead!
