SAD System

SAD...being Since A Draw.

According to Racing Post stats page the following teams haven't had a draw for a while. I'm not sure if it's just league stats or not but it doesn't matter for these purposes.

I'm backing them all to draw and I intend to keep this as a rolling system, probably increasing stakes slightly as I go along. It's financial suicide but I love it

Cheltenham (25 games) at home to Bristol City matched at betfair 10 pts to win 23.81 pts

Lincoln (18 games) at Peterboro matched at betfair 10pts to win 22.86

Peterhead (15 games) at home to Brechin matched at betfair 10pts to win 28.58

West Ham (14 games) away to Fulham placed at VCbet 10pts to win 22.50

Bury (11 games) at home to Hartlepool matched at betfair 10pts to win 24.81

Re: SAD System

West Ham drew I thought itd be a draw too but more likely 1-1.

Whats the time period on this? Teams have to have gone 10 games without a draw or what?

Re: SAD System

Just the top 4 or 5 at any given time I reckon Muze.

50 points staked. Cheltenham drew to return 33.81, West Ham drew to return 32.5.

So 66.31 returned and a 16.5 pt profit on first go. More boxing day.

Re: SAD System

Three left without a recent draw from Saturday at Peterhead don't play till next Saturday when they are at Raith so that leaves

Lincoln v Boson draw 10pts to win 26.20 Betfair

Bury at Accrington draw 10 pts to win 24 Betfred

Will see what others appear in the Racing Post tomorrow.

Re: SAD System

You missed Lincoln drawing at MK Dons at the weekend ODM, bust a 22 game run.

Peterhead drew their first two of the season but haven't drawn since, 18 games in a row now.

QPR is only 12 according to Soccer Stats Tracker, says they drew 2 in a row round about end of October, with Leicester and WBA.

Btw, would maybe stay away from Scottish lower leagues, they frequency of draws in them last season and this is very low.

Last season

Scot Div 3 18.88% (34 from 180) - 2nd lowest in whole SST leagues.
Scot Div 2 19.44% (35 from 180) - 4th lowest.

Rather bizarrely Scot Div 1 was 2nd highest with 33.88% draws, 61 from 180.

This season Div 3 is running at just 13.26% draws, 13 from 98 games, while Div 2 is 21%, 21 from 100.

If there was any decent liquidity on Betfair it would be worth laying the draws in these games, Div 3 especially.

Re: SAD System

Don't worry mate I never even look at Scottish lower leagues. It's Sunday League pub football at its worst. Anything could happen.

Re: SAD System

Leicester drew, QPR didn't. Another profit on the day of 15.65 points, taking the total profit to 46.15 points to date.

Not a league fixture but as they are in the same league and drew with each other in the first game in the FA cup, I'm going to go with QPR to draw with Luton on Tuesday. 10 pts 9/4 generally available.

Nice going ODM

It's probably a bad thing but fancy the draw in that game too

Re: SAD System

I assume the QPR game must have been called off so still 46.15 points in profit. I'll go for them again today at home to Southampton 3.5 at Betfair 10 points.

With Crystal Palace and Grimsby bother 11 matches since a home draw I'll go for 10 points on each of those....

Palace v Hull City 10 pts at 3.75 on betfair

Grimsby v Darlington 3.6 on betfair

I'll have another go at catching the QPR draw. 9/4 with Premierbet to draw with Barnsley tomorrow. 10 pts.
